There are many reasons couples experience infertility. If you've already been trying for a year, you need to go see a doctor who specializes in fertility problems. That kind of doctor can help you determine what the problem is and help you become pregnant. Here is a link that may have some help for you:

I know these doctors and they've very good at what they do. People have travelled from all over the world to see them because they're very successful at achieving pregnancies. If you are unable to travel, I'm sure they can refer you to a doctor near you (if you're in the United States)

Good luck and try not to worry. Being stressed about becoming pregnant can actually prevent you from becoming pregnant.

There could be any of several reasons, and you would have to go to a fertility clinic to evaluate all of them. First, have spouse get sperm tested; if you are okay, and nothing has happened in a year and a half, that's the most likely problem. If he is okay, then your options start getting much more expensive: in vitro fertilization, drugs, sperm donor, egg donor, et cetera. Take it a step at a time, consulting with your doctor.

My answer is , GOD has a plan for everyone. If you haven't gotten pregnant yet, then now is not the time. When it is time, GOD will bless you with a blessing of having a baby. The problem is people try to hard in trying to have a baby that nothing happens. Have sex every now and then, but don't have sex just for the sake of you getting pregnant. The blessing will come you will have to wait for it.
Also what you can do is pray. Pray to GOD for him to bless you with a blessing of having a healthy child.

From your question, I'm assuming only YOU have been checked by the doctor.

If both of you have, and both doctors say your fine, I would get 2nd opinions for both of you and just try to have patience. I wouldn;t go ANY of the fertility paths until doctors tell you there is a problem, I find the fertilty sciences a bit too freaky, just my opinion, though.

It seems like when people put so much time and energy into making a baby that they seem to fail, but the minute they stop trying and just do the do here comes the bouncing baby.
It could be the pressure you all are putting on yourselves to conceive.
Don't think about just do it.

Buy or check out of the library "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". If you follow the guidelines in chapter 5 (I believe it is chapter 5, mine is packed away at the moment), you will greatly increase your chances of getting pregnant. Most people have intercourse at the wrong time of the woman's cycle - usually too late after the egg is already gone. If you wait until after your temperature has spiked, it is too late. Good luck!!

There are ways to track your most fertile time, use them.
Ask your Doc.

Biggest thing you can do is relax and enjoy trying.
Forget why.

This last may well be a Placebo, but it worked for me when I was nervous about my prospects at reproduction....Look for Lidia Pinkhams Pills. They do no harm, and well, worked twice for me, or believeing they did made me relaxed enough to let nature take its course.

it took me and my husband 2 years to get pregnant...we finally decided to take a break on trying and it just happened...we now have a beautiful 9 month old little boy.if you try to hard or think about it to much it makes it harder to get in the mood and you dont enjoy being with your partner, when you are stressed out its harder to get pregnant... just be careful not to lose the passion...
