My step daughter is 17 years old, and just found out she is pregnant. We've spent about 10 years in an ongoing custody battle with her mother. She does not want to live with her father. At 17 can she be legally considered an adult and given the right to choose where she wants to live?

Let's say that THIS time you have sex you're gonna get pregnant. How long after actually HAVING sex does it take for a sperm to fertilize an egg? I know it takes alot longer for a positive result to show up...but I want to know how long it takes for a sperm to meet and fertilize an egg. I heard somewhere you can get pregnant even two days after you last had sex....?

I was behind one in line to get some groceries, and she smelled like she hadnt bathed in a week. Then a day later, I was behind another one and the same thing happened. God, if i ever have kids my girlfriend is gonna bathe 3 times a day!

Can you get a ticket for having an infant in a front facing car seat?? A friend of mine has her not even six months old baby ina front facing car seat.. . I have tried to tell her its not safe.. but she says that her doctor told her it was fine.. Her baby is not even 15lbs!!!

My Sister had her period through out her whole pregnancy. When should you do a Pregnancy test. to Make sure..., When you have Irregular Period. or does it not matter when it comes to Pregnancy tests. I took a test when my period was done with.., but it was negitive but My stomache hurts alot, Im always tired and nautious. and im wondering if im taking the test wrong timing. The doctor that delivered my son through a C-Section birth broke his leg (femur) during delivery. There were no complications other that my son being breech. These deliveries are successfull everyday. I want compensation for his quite extensive medical bills resulting from the broken leg. I can't get a lawyer to touch it. Why?

My husband and I have been ttc and I took a home pregnancy test today. I am not suppose to have my period until Sunday but I just couldn't wait to find out. The test came up with 2 lines but one was alot lighter than the other. Should I just wait until I miss my period to take another test? Or should I think I am pregnant? I just don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. Is this normal?

Well I just found out that it will cost me at least $2500 to have my baby, but it could cost over $7000. (Details on my 360 page).

How much did it cost you (out of your pocket) to have your baby?

Anyone else find this a bit insane or is it just me?
I was going to have 2-3 but I'm a bit concerned if I can even afford to deliver this one. I didn't think it would be cheap but I've just learned about afew sneeky things my insurance company is doing...such as trying to charge me 2 deductables b/c I'm pregnant in 2006 and due in 2007 =)

my bf broke up with me yester day after we went out for 1 month i saw him yester day and we were tottally fine we cuddled did BF Gf stuff and then i hugged him and kissed him good by before he left to go to his house he said he loved me and that he will call me not even like 5 hours later my best friend called me and said he broke up up with me i called him to mmake sure it was true and burst into tears over the phone he said that i was going to break up with him eney way and another girl liked him and he kinda liked he a little bit to so he dumps me and go for the other girl how do u just dump a girl like that after u guy were tottally fine i really dont get it how did this happen ?!?!?!

I'm just about 38 weeks pregnant with high blood pressure (160/100). My doctor has put me on blood pressure medicine and has upped the dosage 3 times because it's not lowering my blood pressure. I've had a headache now for the last week with some dizziness and on/off swelling. I let my doctor know about this and she doesn't seem concerned. She had her nurse set me up with an appointment with a primary care doctor but not until August 31st. I don't think I should wait that long. The baby's movements have slowed down, there's still movement but not nearly has strong has they were before. Oh, my doctor is not in the country now, she went to Egypt for 2 weeks. I was thinking about making an appointment with her partner to get a second opinion. Should I?

Today I was offered a job moving from a temp to a full time employee with benefits. This is great and i would love the job but i havent told anyone at the company that I'm pregnant and due in December. Should i tell them before i sign my contract or should i just wait until after its a done deal that i have the job? My temporary contract is almost up so i wasnt too concerened about telling anyone that i was expecting. What should i do? Any advice?

My daughter will be one in November. She has been sick pretty much since she has been born. She can't eat by mouth and can not be exposed to any illnesses. I plan to have her a family only party. My question is since she can't eat by mouth do I have to do a cake? Can I just make cupcakes for the other kids? Should I do a big theme with the cake anyway? Also any suggestions of waht to tell people to get her for her birthday.( they always ask) She can't hold her head up yet so she is not developmentally ready for typical one year old toys. Any suggestions on either topic would be appreciated. Thank you.

im 16 yrs old and 3months pg im living at home with both of my parents. i am jobless and did plan to go to college but am now unable to do this. as i am not going bak in september my parents will stop recieving my child benefit and are now saying that they can not afford to keep me, i also have brothers and a sister, does any1 no wat benefits me or my parents can claim now before my baby is born.
