My husband and I have been ttc and I took a home pregnancy test today. I am not suppose to have my period until Sunday but I just couldn't wait to find out. The test came up with 2 lines but one was alot lighter than the other. Should I just wait until I miss my period to take another test? Or should I think I am pregnant? I just don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. Is this normal?

If you are asking if it is normal for the test to read one light line and one dark, Yes it is. A friend of mine took a test and it showed up negative. She put the test down and looked 10 minutes later and she had a light line for positive. She was indeed pregnant. If I was you I would (a) go take another test (b) wait to see if I get my cycle (c) Dr. appointment for a blood test. I hope this helped.

You are so pregnant if you got two lines!! Take another one just for the fun of it or go get one done at your doctors. ONE LINE is not pregnant, but two, even if it is barely noticeable, is some showing of HCG and you are! CONGRATULTIONS! Children are such a blessing.... I remember the first time I took a test and it said I was pregnant, with my first daughter, it was so hard to see the line and literally, my husband made me take three more tests after that just to make sure! LOL

The same thing happened to me. most likely congrats are in order you are most likely pregnant! The line should only come up if you have the pregnancy hormone. I would go out and buy another test of a different brand RIGHT NOW! who wants to wait! I that also comes up posotive then you are.I did this and the second test came up with a definite posotive good luck!!

the best way to do it is to wait at least half a week and then get one of those "easy read" pregnancy tests. the cheap ones and the expensive ones work about the same, but i usually try to find one in the middle (maybe 8-12 dollars). the easy readers will give you a "yes" or a "no" in about 5 minutes (or depending on what the box says). these work best because even if it's light, you can still read the word.

I would wait, why get your hopes up and after a week take the test again, by the way good luck if that is what you want.

If you had two lines (even if its faint) than Id say I am 99.9% sure u r indeed pregnant. My doctor said a slight positive is a positive, HCG wouldnt show up in your urine if u were not pregnant, unless u were on a fertility medicine. Wait till Sunday, but I am pretty positive u r prego... Congrats

its possible to have a negative when ur pregnant, but not possible to have a positive when ur not pregnant. if the test says two lines means pregnant, it doesn't matter how faint, i would say you are-congrats! but dont start telling people yet, give it a week do another test or go to your doctor.xxx

you should wait and see if you have a missed period but freak out and tell him now let him wait but if you have missed period then brake down for him nice and easy.
