Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 July 2006

My daughter turned 2 on June 3rd, mind you.. Im having to raise her alone as her mom doesnt want her.. anyways shes got to where she is just whining all the time. I put her to bed. and she wakes up crying , screaming, and what not. Any idea of what Im doing wrong? lol

he is the youngest of 3 and my other two sons trained farily easy. But my youngest son is in a I'm the baby frame of mind and refuses to potty train. when ever i try to reinforce the fact that hes not a baby any more and that he needs to use the potty he says "no me baby, in diaper" what do i do???

i am now 23 years old.married 2 years ago.trying to conceive since 3 months.irregular periods.if i consider 28 days cycle then my periods r due by 3 days.i took a test tthis morning it was negative.i can't say anything about early symptoms.but my boobs r soft to touch.i know this is also concerned with pms.what i can do.help me .

My sister did not know this. She's been married for 8 years and has two kids. Unbelievable! We were watching Larry the Cable Guy a few weeks ago and he said something like...."Have you ever had an orgasm so good that you fell and hit your head on the tub and knocked yourself out?" (Or something like that) She turned to me and said..."Men have orgasms too?" I was speechless at first, and it took me by surprise, but I said..."Well, of course." And nothing else was said. We just left it at that. But she was dead serious! After her being married, and having children, I just don't understand this.

i wanted to know when is a time where babies actually pay attention to what they hear around them. is playing sounds or music good for them? some say that mothers who play music for them to listen to the baby will be great at music or singing or whatever. just a curious thought

Is it true that you can't be a virgin to wear tampons? My friend told me she heard that you have to break some kind of barrier to get the tampon inside. Is this true?

Is breast feeding healthier for the baby, then buying the stuff at the store. I just want to make sure they are still getting all the vitamins and minerals they are supposed to. Also, can you refrigerate your breast milk so someone else can feed the baby at a later time?

Okay I live in a Mormon community (I'm not mormon) and everyone looks down on me. Why? I think that is just plain rude. Everyone around makes rude comments when they see my family outside playing on a Sunday. They make my family feel unwanted. Why do they do this to us??? It makes me think Mormons are a good for nothing religion.

I'm a totally against his wishes. Here is the situation. I have been involved with this many on every level of friendship to relationship for 13 years. I have a child that is two & half (but not with him) he has 2 children from a past marriage from when he was younger. While I was involved with my daughters father He was involved & still is (but its a terrible relationship) with the mother of his 3rd child (the pride of his life-his son). We have talked & talked about being together when the timing is right. When changes could be made & everyone was prepared to deal with everything. This is a situation where no matter what some people will get hurt. We knew that! Any way I just found out that I'm pregnant(which we have talked about having a baby together) when things were right. But timing is not always right so I'm pregnant now. I feel very strongly that abortion is tolttaly wrong& I cant give a baby up 4 adopt. he begged me to have an abortion. how do i make him understnd

My cousin last night told me that she went on a date with this guy and afterwards they went back to his house and they slept together during so about 20 minutes into she goes Im tired cus she was and she was in pain but he goes but i want more sex and kept going.She came back home barely even able to work.She said it was a big mistake and she didnt enjoy it .she says she feels like shes been raped is it!

My sister has thought she was pregnant for a few months now too. She took home pregnancy tests, and they were all negative. So, she went to the doctor and had a blood test that was negative too, yet she says she still feels pregnant. Is there still a possibility that she is pregnant and the blood test missed it?? Has anyone else had this happen to them??

I also had negative home pregnancy tests and urine tests at the doctor, but my blood showed I was at 3 months....so I don't know what to tell her.

the symptoms ive had lately are-
**im constantly hot,even in airconditioned places
**i have slight nausea-usually goes away when i eat something light-but not always

**im exhausted,all the time!!!!even if i just drive my daughter to school and come home i feel like ive been running a marathon!
***and the big one-my period is like 6 days late!!!

i took a test,it was negative!!!!!so i dont know what to think,weve been trying to conceive for 9 months now!!!!
any other ideas since the test was negative???

I have posted a question just a few minutes ago. But people just jump to conclusions. I have worked since the day I turned 14. And I have just recently became unemployed due to circumstances I could not help. I am 25 years old and I have never asked anyone for help...and I know I asked my question wrong, like I was a bum sitting at home on my butt and just trying to "drain" sociaty, but maybe people should ask a question before they turn all judgemental on someone. I have not been trying to concieve since my unexepted unemployment, but there maybe a possiblity that I am since I have not been trying lately, and my stress level has been down.
Also, I was not asking anyone if I was p.g. I was just trying to get others opinion.
Sorry, for all this does not apply. But I feel better now, and this was sure worth 5 points.....Hope everyone has a nice day!!!

My daughter is 6 months old. I breastfeed her and i was thinking about breastfeeding her until she was around a year old, but i wasnt sure if that was too long or i should try to wein her sooner?

Just wondering at what age other moms stopped breastfeeding?

Im curious, obviously this is my first pregnancy. While pregnant does it seem like life couldnt go any slower or are you thinking where did my belly go? It seems with my friends that it goes by so fast but does it actually fell that way for the woman carrying the child.
Also,
My boyfriends sister wants to give us all of the things that she had seeing that she has 2 little ones and doesnt plan on having any more children. I would like to buy some things on my own that I know I worked to get, because I was raised to know that great satisfaction comes from things that you earn, I dont want to offend her by denying to accept some of these things, but I just want to do some things on my own.
Is this okay?

I had unprotected sex on the 8th of july. I got my period on the 22nd but it wasn't like it usually is. Well i was wondering if it was possible that i could be pregnant. I've been cranky lately, tired but my stomach hurts so bad i can't go to sleep at night. Plus i got cramps when i started my period but i never had them at all before. I don't know what to think so if anyone knows please tell me what you think.
