Is this your first pregnacy? Well, it will feel like fluttering at first and then you will definatly know because they will kick and flip (best feeling in the world might I add). You will even know when they have the hiccups (which can happen) because your stomach will move rythmically. This is the fun part. I miss it.

It was really hard to tell for me at first. I was having what I thought was strange stomach gurgling or butterflies - during an ultrasound I could see the baby move at the same time I felt the strange stuff. A couple of weeks later there was no mistaking the squishing around for what it really was - in a couple more weeks I could even tell hiccups from kicks.

Lay on your back on the floor or bed and exhale. You should feel the baby kick against your stomache. If what you are feeling is like little taps that are there for a few minutes and then gone your baby may have the hiccups. Kicking from the baby you can feel on your belly, hiccups are more inside feeling. Congrats on your baby.

It felt like a bubble slowly popping or flutters in your belly. For the longest time and I was never sure, then it started to last a little bit longer than 2 seconds.

If you are concerned, call your doctor. Sometimes they'll see you so that you can hear the heartbeat and be reassured.

It feels like a sea otter floating around inside you. First babies take longer to feel. I didn't feel the baby at 21 weeks either.

what you can do is eat something and then after about like 30 mins lay on your left side... if your 21 weeks it should be obvious... but it will feel like a butterfly or maybe gas... just big gas...

you should be feeling some real movement, like a little knob sticking up from your belly that rolls a little ways then disappears again
