Here it is- it has worked for my 2 kids, and others after I tell them........
1. get m and m's handy
2. get a small potty chair
3. get a couple books about potty
4. you need to be home for about 4-5 days straight
5. now you can start. let them run around bare-but
6. Set the timer for 1/2 hour. Tell him/her to sit on the potty for 5 min. (read them a book in the mean time if it's to long for them.) If they go, give lots and lots of praise!!! I mean go crazy!! Give them about 3 m and m's.
7. Set the timer for 1/2 hour
8. Avoid asking the question "you got to go potty?'
9. Timer goes off- ok! What does that mean junior? Time to go potty again he or she would say, or you say it if they don't
10. repeat process all day long. If they go # 2 in the potty, reward with a handful of m and m's. They are very colorful and kids love them!!
11. Praise praise praise. I do spank my kids for behavior problems such as lying, disobedience, and bad attitudes, but never for having an accident. If there is an accident, clean it up queitly, and don't say much at all. Remind them it's ok, but try to make it in the potty next time, or in your own words.
Good luck!!! Hope this helps you. My girl was potty-trained in one day with the method. Took my son a week. Leave pull-ups on them at night just in case.
p.s. if this doen't work at all, try again in a few months.

How old is your child? If she is old enough does she have an interest in anything "big girls" do?
My daughter turned 3 in June....potty training had been a nightmare. She suddenly got this interest in school and dance. I just told her they don't let you go to school or take dance til you are potty trained, you have to use the big girl potty....she has been with only 1 accident since I told her I'd enroll her in dance once she was potty trained and that was over a month ago! She quit diapers cold turkey, which is what they say is best.
I put her in panties and we together threw away all her pull ups, and told her I was buying no more..she was a big girl and didn't need them, put panties on her during the day and at night. They don't like feeling wet, whether it's during the day or waking up wet at night, it's cold, wet, miserable. They say you should make sure you have 2 weeks to devote to this. Cut your child off 2 hours before bed time from drinks, a sip or 2 is okay just no drinks, if she urinates a lot or drinks a lot during the day cut her back some, maybe cut the drinks off 3 hours before bed, you know what's best for her. Just be prepared to wash laundry for a few days...every day!
Give her an incentive...but make sure it's one you're willing to follow through with when he follows through.

i have potty trained (with the parents) lots of children.
signs a child is ready:average age 2, stays dry between changes, tells u when to change her diaper
steps to potty training:
1)put big girl underwear on,diapers for sleep only
2)stay consistent no matter where u are!
3)use positive reinforcement...not negative
4)be prepared to clean up lots of messes
please do not give up try this technique for 2 weeks straight and ur daughter will definately be potty trained!

I was told that when they go potty to clap and make a big deal out of it.Anyways also I was told that you could give them a penny for pee and 2 pennies for 2.And when they have some saved up take them to spend it.Or give them 1 m&m for pee and 2 for poo.
DO NOT SPANK YOUR KID!!!THAT WILL ONLY MAKE THEM NOT WANT TO GO IN THE POTTY!!!
Also you can get a potty ring so she can feel like a big girl.

We had a piece of poster paper on the bathroom door and a collection of fun stickers and every time he went successfully he got to choose a sticker to put on the "Potty Poster". Our little guy did pretty well with that one.

get a kitchen timer, and set it to go off every hour, when it dings take her to the bathroom, even if she does'nt have to go. You can also have her listen for the ding so she can be a "helper"
