I had unprotected sex on the 8th of july. I got my period on the 22nd but it wasn't like it usually is. Well i was wondering if it was possible that i could be pregnant. I've been cranky lately, tired but my stomach hurts so bad i can't go to sleep at night. Plus i got cramps when i started my period but i never had them at all before. I don't know what to think so if anyone knows please tell me what you think.

It is always a possibility, even if you have a full fledged period.
You can look up a crisis pregnancy center in your area, and they can perform a free, confidential pregnancy test for you.
Once you have your pregnancy test over with, you should go to your local health department or clinic and be tested for STDs. Casual sex is never a good idea, but especially unprotected sex. Take care of yourself - be tested. Good luck.

I am 19 and have a 1 year old son and I am about 3 months pregnant. I also had my period but it was lite and spotty, I dont know about the crampy part because I dont get them but the best you can do is get a home test at lest 2 of them and take 1 in the morning if it's negitive wait 2 weeks and take another one. If it still is negitive don't get worried until you miss ur period. I know it's scarey, look at me I'm 19 with 2 kids, If you are it'll open ur eye's to things you never thought you could see. Something inside of you transformes into something more beautiful than anything in this universe. I wish u the best of luck because either way being pregnant and haveing children is the most natrual thing, it's a gift that some can never exsperience. So I hope you do the right thing. No worries hunn!

if you got your period that later after you had sex, then no your not pregnant but take a pregnancy test if you want to ease your mind. your stomach hurting is probably due to stress and worrying that you might be pregnant. and cramps are a part of womanhood sometimes you'll have them and sometimes you never will. but next time avoid this situation and scare by using protection or get on the pill or both.
good luck!

First of all, if you are too young to know the answer to your question, you are too young to be having sex.

Second of all, here is what 20 minutes (or less) of sexual pleasure can cost you (EVERYTHING has a COST).
1. 18 years of caring for a child that you really didnt want and were not ready for.
2. 18 years of your boyfriend having to pay for child support for a child HE didnt want.
3. 3am feedings, 100s of diaper changes, the cost of daycare, and working at a low paying job you hate because you dont have any choice.
4. Your unintended child learning that he /she was an "accident".
5. Possible sexually transmitted diseases (some of which can cause cancer and KILL you)

So go ahead...have unprotected sex again and roll the dice....just don't come crying when you have to pay the costs outlined above.

And no birth control is 100% effective.

I really do not think you could be pregnant, he cramps could just be like a stomach bug or something but if you would like to make sure if you are or not you might consider going to the store and buying a pregnancy test.. that is and easy way of telling. good luck!

Oh well. I don't think that you are pregnant but I think you got VD. Go to the doctor's office and get a test. If you let it slide, it will only get worse and you could become sterile.

;-D Responsible sex is responsible for a long and healthy life. Good luck!

Pregnancy and periods are possible, but somewhat rare. The best thing to do is consult your doctor.

Your body behaves a certain way, and when things change they change for a reason, whether it be pregnancy or some other reason.

Get a checkup.

No period is ever really the same. If you are really worried that you might be pegnant, get a pregnancy test. It's highly unlikely that you are though. Don't stress, that will only make things worse.

If you have period after your latest sex, definitlely you r not pregnant. Your stomachache may be caused by some other reason. Go to see your docter if you r not sure. Don't be shy. Anyway, you need to learn how to protect yourself.---From a mother of three.
