close your eyes and think of a happy place. or just start laughing for no reason at all (that works for all the time and i'm terrified of needles lol)

sure I have a huge phobia of needles. My accomplice got here with me and pulled foolish faces at me even as she positioned the needle in. If u can calm down it makes it plenty less difficult. I additionally figures that the day I deliver delivery there'll probbly be a lot of needles round so I would possibly as good get used to it. BTW, do not flip down an epidural headquartered in this worry. U REALLY may not think so much of it while u are within the throes of labour. It was once a godsend!

wow i am just like you i am also afraid of needles just whne they take your blood turn around maybe bring an i pod or mp3 to distract you from it. I brought my mp3 once and it went by fats. Just think happy thoughts

Chew gum, Don't look at it. Think of something else. Tell the nurse to not tell you when she is going to stick you to just the conversation going and you'll forget all about it when its in.

ask if they will use pediatric needles. I'm needle-phobic too and those don't seem to hurt as much.
