He doesn't bite all the time and he usually just bites his siblings. I just don't want him to really get started on it. How do I stop him before he gets to involved with biting?

people think its okay for the her to have a baby but not okay for me to have one because she is 30.

Let me explain. I am 23 and have been with my husband for 5 years and married for 18 months. We want to have a baby and everyone is making a big deal about it saying to wait.

A friend of mine is 30, she has been with her husband for almost 2 years and just got married, people have a different attitude about her wanting a baby. They are all for it even thought they haven't really established their marriage as a couple.

I get that she is older than me, but that doesn't mean her and her husband are more likely to stay together than my husband and I. I see it as they are less likely to have a solid relationship (than me) regardless of their age because they haven't been together very long before starting a family. They haven't had enough quiality time together.

It doesn't mean they won't stay married though.

Have you run into this attitude? What do you think?

My sis had a baby about 7 months ago, and was breastfeeding (which also meant she was without her period). She became pregnant when her baby was about 8 weeks old but experienced no symptoms. The breastfeeding didn't work out (probably because of hormone changes or whatever- the baby just stopped taking her nipple), so eventually after not having a period after ceasing breastfeeding she took a pg test and she's pregnant.... and according to ultrasound she's nearly 13 weeks pregnant...
So, our concern is the binges she had during her first trimester... probably about 7-10 drinks in a one night outing, 4 or 5 different nights... any information or similar situations out there???

This problem, just started a few days ago, and now I feel like pulling my hair out. He spits at his 5 year old brother all the time now. I ask him why he did it, and it's aways because his brother said or did something that he didn't like. I've tried over and over again to tell him that it's not nice to spit at people, I've told him that only people who are gross and pigs spit at other people, I've put him in the corner for it, and I've made him sit in time-out for it. What else can I do?

your temperature ON the day you start your period. I had pink spotting yesterday and brown spotting this morning. Now its gone altogether and my temperature was higher yesterday and today than it was when I ovulated and the days after ovulation. It's like a second spike. (I know I already ovulated, I'm positive). Temp. was taken same time every day.

Todays teenagers-girls in general are gullable and want to please, so they comply-the parents or parent of the girls get stuck with all the bills; hospital, labs, Ob-gyne, the drama, etc. Is sex education not being taught correctly or even up to date or what?

the "teen and preteen" section under the category of "pregnancy and parenting" is in regards to parenting questions about teens. it's not a section for teens to gather and ask silly questions.

a question for this category could be:
"my 14 year old is talking to someone online and i don't know who it is...any tips or advice"

then, people with informative answers would answer, like parents who have been there themselves, or just people who may have a good idea to present.

it would be great if Yahoo would make a teen oriented answers site.

accepting authority as being 'all knowing' serves a purpose... for awhile. but at some point in time, children will want to know "WHY do we pledge allegiance to the flag?" "WHY should that person have to live in poverty?" "WHY did daddy have to go to iraq?"

when should we tell them "WHY"? WHAT should we tell them?

I had a period last month- May 26th, 25 months postpartum. I expected to receive another one in June, but have not got it yet. Should this be expected? Or should I keep taking pregnancy tests?
This is my 3rd childbirth but I don't remember this happening before.

I began dialating at 29 weeks, it is my third pregnancy. Moved from 0-2 cm, within a week. I have stopped dialating and want to get myself moving again. I know about nipple stimulation and sex (worked with my other 2 pregnancies), but it is not working this time. I am ready to have this baby, now that I have made it to term, and I am beginning to get frustrated. Any ideas?

I have a 2 year old son that had motor and speech delays. He receives services for these, but the most perplexing thing now is that he will ONLY eat starches. My son will not eat vegetables, fruits or meat. His diet consists of potatoes, bread, waffles and oatmeal. We are to see the GI specialist soon, as the ped thinks that he has acid reflux. We have tried withholding the foods he will eat thinking that when he was hungry he would eat. He did not eat for almost 3 days.

Has this happened to anyone else?
