Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 June 2006

I had a 3D/4D sono done this weekend and the sonographer told me that my 26 wk gestation baby weighs over 2lbs. She said that this is more than normal. She also said that the baby is measuring 2 wks ahead of what I am.

Now I am a small girl and I have only gained 7 lbs my entire pregnancy.....

Should I tell my doctor about it and see if he thinks this is something to be concerned about or just let it be?

I'm a working mom, I work full time from 8-4 and when I get home I'm already tired. I try to keep up with my 9 month old, and usually I do. I start losing patience at night, especially when I'm very sleepy and he doesn't wanna go to sleep.

I don't yell at him, but I talk stronger. For example I say with a strong voice "Damian go to sleep now baby, mommy is tired". Sometimes he just laughs at me thinking I'm playing, sometimes he stays serious.

But, the next day I feel SO guilty. I don't give him enough time because I work, and then I talk strong to him!! What kind of person am I? :( And I can't quit my job because we need the money.

Anyone else with the same problem? Any other working moms? How do you deal with this sort of issue?

my daughter is 10 months old and has always had trouble going poo off and on, right now she is on half formula and half 2 percent milk. she will only be on the bottle for 2 more months, she is having a lot of trouble with hard stools, is there anything to help her go, or anything to make her belly better?

My friend Marcy Smalley is always being harassed and made fun of by other kids in our school. They treat her bdly everyday and she never does anything to them or say anything to them. They call her fat ugly albino etc.... She goes home and her mom calls her fat and is mean to her and don't let her out of the house. (Marcy told me this) Noone does anything about her getting picked on. She told me the principal teachers etc... don't do anything about this. What can my friend do or what could i do for my friend? I told some kid off once but it didn't seem to do much. Marcy is really nice and I think she doesn't deserve this **** she is given by people!

He is 21 and after all these years we still have to grind on him to pick up after himself. We feel some time on his own he will get it.

He works full time so he is not a deadbeat but so do we.

The worst part is I feel terrible about it.

Me and my girlfriend 'kinda' had sex Yesterday without a condom. I didnt fully go in, and she is still physically a Virgin, Her cherry hasnt poped. When i went in, not that far, we think some pre-*** went inside her also >_<

I have a 12 day old newborn daughter who is very fussy and I can hear gas bubbles in her little tummy. She cries nightly from about midnight to about 3 or 4 am. Her dr. changed her formula to Allimentum and told me to put milocon drops in every bottle because she said her tummy was full of air. I have done this for 7 days now and while I do notice a small amount of improvement, she is still very fussy. Should I try this gripe water, and if so, where can I get it?

for a week for me and my husband, tickets are expensive since we are on the West Coast. Now I am thinking I would rather use the money towards a baby instead and not go to the East Coast. I could always go when the child is old enough to stay with family, but I am worried I might regret not going.

$3500 is almost what I make in two months (after taxes), that’s a lot of money for me!! So I could get pregnanty earlier than expected and we could have the baby we have been wanting for so long!
