I'm five days late, 19dpo, and I took an hpt, that turn out very light pink, but definitely there. Should I take this as a positive?

try peeonastick.com. There are pictures of positive, negative and evaporation lines for pregnancy tests. I would retake the test in a couple of days and see the result. However, I would schedule an appointment with your doctor regardless.

Take it as a positive test. It looks for human growth hormone and if its there at all, it Will pick it up. You really cant hardly have a "fake positive" result. I would wait till the morning and take one with your first urine and see what happens. If you still have questions, go to your doctor or the the local health department. But in our office, we used the same fact plus test that you can buy over the counter. hope this helps!!

Yes unless the test is defective with pregnancy tests even a light positive is still a positive. It does not have to be dark to be there!

Both my tests were very, very light, but if you see a line, there is HGH there and you are pregnant.

positive is positive unless you read the test after 10 mins then it could be an evaporation line. I think this is unlikely though. My guess is that you're pregnant.

I had the same thing happen with my last two babies. My Dr. told me that you cannot get a false positive...but you can get a false negative. I would say that you are pregnant. Congrats!!!!!! Let me know when you find out when your due.

i used to dummy prof hpt the EPT Certanity tells you pregnant or not pregnant but i'm pretty sure that ts positive unless you look at it afteer the recomended time
