Anything with 400 UI folic acid is great. I took Materna, huge pink horse pills.

Be sure to take all pre-natal vitamins with a lot of water so you don't get constipated.

Go to GNC, Vitamin World, or any vitamin/supplement store and ask. They helped me to find one with right amount of folic acid, Vitamin B, etc.

I got the walmart brand, at $4 a bottle for a three month supply. My doc said they were the exact same as the expensive ones they prescribe, they have to be by law. My copay was $15 for a one month supply- saving me a bundle!
