for a week for me and my husband, tickets are expensive since we are on the West Coast. Now I am thinking I would rather use the money towards a baby instead and not go to the East Coast. I could always go when the child is old enough to stay with family, but I am worried I might regret not going.
$3500 is almost what I make in two months (after taxes), that’s a lot of money for me!! So I could get pregnanty earlier than expected and we could have the baby we have been wanting for so long!
What would you do?

I'd do a smaller trip closer to home, and bank the rest. You just might need it for diapers and clothes. To me, having a baby sooner totally trumps a big trip! As a matter of fact, I wanted to do Egypt next year, but I just finally talked my husband into our fourth and last child. So screw Egypt, I'm gonna have a baby! New York isn't going anywhere. But if you have already waited years for a baby, then get your groove on and plan the trip for later.

Take the vacation. You will never ever have that kind of freedom again after the baby is born.
Trust me, you will regret not having that last pre-baby trip!
Take the trip- then save up lots and lots of cash! Believe me, you are gonna need more than 3,500 dollars when the baby comes!

NY really isn't that spectacular...and it will always be there. You might not be able to conceive. If I were you, I'd try for the baby and put the trip off for a while. Just think...after a year or two of screaming, poopy diapers, spitting up, temper tantrums, etc., that trip to NY will be even MORE fun and you'll really appreciate it then. :)

You can save a lot of $$$ by taking a trip somewhere closer where you have never been (but always wanted to). That way you have a vacation and some $ left over.. I have 2 toddlers and already find myself wondering where Im gonna find enough $ for college.....

You should skip the trip and go for the baby. My husband and I decided to skip out on a wedding so that we could have a baby and we got married at the court house. It was worth it.

If having a baby is really important to you, then you should do that. But realize that it's hard to travel with kids when they're young, so you'd have to put your NYC trip on hold for a while. If you're ready for kids, you do that, NYC will always be there- hopefuly.

go to nyc, being a parent is stressful, so you can have pictures and memories of your trip to think about during those stressful times, when you have kids,they always come first and later sometimes is 20 years later! go now, you can get pregnant on the trip

Sit down with your husband and decide whats more important to you . Is it a trip or a beautiful little baby. I would choose to have my baby !
