Is it good or bad when foreign companies (ex companies in china or dubai) buy large shares of US companies?

I here some people say this is dangerous and say it sells our sovereignty.

I also here some people say this is good and helps our economy grow. I also heard a guy on the radio saying in the 1800's all the railroad industries were backed by British money.

Also, state what side of the political spectrum you are in.

Huckabee is now one of the frontrunners for the republican side. He will definitely have no problem with the social conservatives as they seem to be really pushing this. But, what about independents and moderate republicans?

What do you think about Rudy Guiliani's idea of having public funded abortions? Even if you don't support him as our next president, do you think this is a good idea? Some people may think, "I don't want my tax dollars going to some girl's abortion" but then again, your taxes may be going to her baby for the next 18 years because she couldn't afford a termination. Are you for or against this idea? Why or why not?

Pro-lifers are obviously against this, so please, I am interested in the opinions of Pro-choice supporters only!

The goal of corporate prisons is profit so they push to have as many people incarcerated as possible for as long as possible. Why are non-violent drug offenders being used as "assets" for corporate prisons at the taxpayer expense? Why are we paying thousands of dollars a month to imprison each person only to have them learning how to become a true criminal when they ever get out? What should be done?

What new and incredible services is the government now providing to us to justify such a massive increase in taxes? What should be done about this?

Al Queada is still around and behaving badly. The US military is over extended and not in the US to protect it should anything happen there.
Not to mention Terror attacks in America were hardly a common occurrence before 9/11 so to say that the Iraq occupation has made America safer is nothing short of blatant propaganda used to sell the war.
Fact is the rest of the world has had to deal with it much longer than America has.
it finally came to America and expectedly too due to their brutal foreign policy. Propping up dictatorial regimes and the like.
So tell me how America is safer.

I mean Bush and Cheney ignored terrorism until after we were attacked!
The republican led Congress didn't set up the 911 commission until 11/27/2002!
Especially when you consider that within two months of the pearl harbor attack there were already 2 investigations done! One by then sec of navy Knox......and one by the Roberts commission which ended 1/23/1942!
