Perhaps amending the Constitution for that issue is not a good idea. I doubt it will ever be in there as too many people do not believe in legislating morality. The Roe v Wade has become more of an issue of morality than anything else. We tried to legislate morality with prohibition. That lasted 13 years and was repealed. What a waste! We can't amend the Constitution for every little agenda point one side or the other has. Our Constitution would be a tomb in a very short time. As it is now it is brief, general and allows for people to be free without others telling them how they should or should not live. States are given the right to make laws not covered in the Constitution and since the document is general federal laws may also be made so long as there is nothing in the Constitution prohibiting them from being made.

I am a Conservative and refuse to be put in the position of constantly having to go through the massively difficult process of amending the Constitution every time some group of Liberal Justices decide to legislate from the bench. Roe v Wade should be overturned because it is bad law.
I would find it far more useful for a truly Conservative Congress to do its job and reign in the power of the Supreme Court which is something they are supposed to be doing but have never done. It is to the point now where the only true power to rule rests with the Supreme Court. This is not a krytocracy. It is a representative republic. Time to reign in the Supreme Court's Power.
Merry Christmas!

For the last time, it isn't Pro-Abortion it is Pro-Choice. You will never hear a Democrat say let's victimize babies. You will hear them say let's find a way to prevent women having to face this decision. This is why Democrats believe in funding programs like Planned Parenthood and providing birth control.
Keep in mind, there are more issues than just abortion. I hope your conservatives beliefs aren't the only reason why you're Republican

Because intelligent people haven't forgotten that when abortions were outlawed, women were getting it done anyway with coat hangers and/or unqualified "doctors." Those activities were extremely dangerous and people realised it was better to have experienced doctors complete the procedure.

The majority of Americans don't agree with your view on one issue that you are obsessed with; therefore, there isn't a candidate who is going to go against the American public.

If you look hard enough, I'm sure you'll find one who wants to take away this freedom from people and push their religious beliefs on them.. There's lots of nuts out there.

Because the majority of the country doesn't agree with your views and maybe the candidates don't either.
