No. I think that everyone deserves to have a voice, including Christians.

While many of the founders were Christians and thus their thinking was based largely on the tenets of Christianity we have largely allowed for everyone to have his say. From time to time people of one sort or another were descriminated against, Catholics, Jews, Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses but each eventually is allowed to assimilate into the fabric that is the tapestry of America. Only the radicals, the extremists have an issue with rights for others who aren't exactly like them. Those radicals have stirred up mobs of non-radicals from time to time but generally we find that people are free to worship, or not , as they see fit. That has been one of the pillars this nation was built upon. If we allow that to erode due to too much emphasis or too little emphasis on the good preached by all religions we are doomed. One does not need to be a Christian to know that killing another person is wrong. This is taught in all religions, yes even Islam, but there are events that cause not thinking people to follow the hot heads, jingos, radicals who know nothing about this perceived evil. They don't even try to learn or understand anything about others it is the old us and them with the us, on both sides, as the good guys and the them, on both sides as the bad guys.

Whether Christmas is celebrated by someone as a religious or secular holiday one of the messages is always Peace on Earth and goodwill toward others. We should keep that in our minds and hearts not just during the Christmas season but throughout the years. Merry Christmas to all and a Peaceful New Year.

America is the land of the free, founded on Christian precepts. But we deliberately left out anything that would legislate how or where a person should express their own religious views.

But just because we don't dictate how, doesn't mean we are without, and should hide the founding principles.

You should live by the rules of the land, and within those your faith. But a standard of what is right and what is wrong must be established somewhere.

And since we are a democracy and around 80% of the people in this country consider themselves of the Christian beliefs, those are generally going to be the standards by which we judge what is right and what is wrong. And thusly those are the rules you will and should have to live by.

You have the same rights as everyone else, and just because you don't like our views, does not mean we have to stop showing them.

OK, I believe that America is a Christian Nation, and I am Jewish. The whole thing about being a Christian Nation is the belief that we were all created equally and that we all should be treated with respect, and that has more to do with it than a reference to any particular religion. I believe that most, and I mean MOST Americans are good, honest respectful people.

Your question is not one which can be answered accurately, just that you should note that anyone can believe anything they want, yet it doesn't make them right. For example, if I think basketball is better than baseball, then it doesn't mean that baseball isn't a great sport, and doesn't mean thatbaseball fans are nothings, because they think that they're sport is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

Where that leaves you is the same place you've always been. In a nation that has the right to religious freedom.

Practice your religion. .. or no religion at all if that is your choice. Just do what you can to pass on a better nation to the next generation.

It seems it does not matter if non-Christians in America have rights or not, since we're all going to Hell anyway.

You live by the laws of the land or you go to jail. I don't care if you worship earth worms. Christians make up 85% of the population yet you would think we were the minority by the laws in this country.

Christianity is the religion of the perpetual persecution complex fostered largely by the inflated sense of self-entitlement it breeds.
