Many well known products are now made in china, but they always fall apart or brake down. Is it because chinese people cant read instructions and make things because they can't see properly?

Its not a question of, 'you get what you pay for', alot of British quality products have had to be built in china because of the strong pound, the products are just as expensive, im not talking about toys worth next to nothing. Vox, celestion, laney, MG cars. All poorer quality.

I have been checking labels for years and buying as little as possible foreign made goods. Many of the things that I buy, I know the person that made it. My last black powder rifle was custom made by a private gunsmith, lock stock and barrel. Yes it cost much more than a factory made rifle, but it is a one of a kind piece of artwork that kept my dollars in the local economy. Edit - All of us need to make a concerted effort to buy American products for both the sake of our economy as well as insuring the quality and safety of the goods for sale in this country. A quality product will last longer and is thus lower in cost in the long run than having to replace the cheap import every couple of years. If the cheap garbage that does not last is not sold and just collects dust on the shelf at the store, the stores will not carry the cheap garbage. I don't care what foreign country makes the cheap garbage, stop buying it.

Very little money is spent to make this cheap Chinese junk. The workers get paid a few cents an hour to make the products (wow what a motivator) plus there is almost no money spent on quality control to make sure the products actually work when they leave the assembly line.

You get what you pay for!

Because they are forced to work at an unrelenting pace to get the products to market. China basically makes the entire worlds goods. There is little room for quality control when you have a short deadline

Slave labor has never been of the highest quality. Go figure.

And communism is, quite literally, slavery. Even if the government that owns them behaves as a capitalist.

You get what you pay for--cheap products. Chinese factories have zero quality control. We must do 100% inspection on all items imported from China. And don't get me started on Mexico!

>>>trust me! You get what you pay for<<<<<

Which well known products are these?

"Cheap labor with NO voice and with NO government regulation."

Sounds familiar..similar to what every neo-con I've run into dreams about. I guess they want to be Chinese and make poor quality goods.

They give the least bang for your buck. They are made with cheap labor and cheap parts.
