Does she honestly feel she has a snowball's chance in hell of winning? Most of the people here in Atlanta can't stand her, and I would gather that her national perception isn't much better.

i think that al gore should be making his global warming sessions for free and that he should be doing them in countrys that are poor and no nothing about global warming and are destroying the earth. he should be doing this for free. my opinion is that he is doin it for money and that he wants publicity. if he really cared he wouldnt make a dvd on it that half of it is based on his autobiography. the dvd is called an inconvienient truth.

forget the family business and friends of friends...if Bush was forced to live by his own skills, what could he do? Nothing in sales please....does he have any blue collar, manly skills other than able to use a brand new chain saw and drive a pickup? Or is he just a rich boy playing with Daddy's stuff?

How ridiculous is this. The USA were smart enough to hold out from the stupid Kyoto treaty, which was supposed to cut down on carbon emissions just came out with proof that they are just hot air.
need proof, of course:

"Emissions worldwide increased 18.0%.
Emissions from countries that signed the treaty increased 21.1%.
Emissions from non-signers increased 10.0%.
Emissions from the U.S. increased 6.6%."

So uh, why were people so happy with this. We didn't join and we did better than ALL OF THEM.
The UN is the worst political group in the world , we should get out, and kick them out of our country, now.
What a joke. What a flipping joke.
here is the article.

the establishment government/media does not want the american people to know his message. how can a man polling at 4% lead the republicans in money and donations since june with 24 million dollars since june, especially when the news media treats him like the plague. the same establishment media/government that sold us this war to enforce UN resolutions that the vast majority of americans think was wrong now.

the man has over 120,000 donations this quarter totaling over 18.5 million dollars. how can so many regular americans completely agree with dr paul so much on so many issues, yet others hate him. he has a perfect consitutional voting record. with congressional approval rating in the teens for so long, why can't people actually search him out and think for themselves instead of marching to the drumbeat of the establishment status quo? will this country ever get back on track?

Congress OKs Va Tech-inspired gun bill, Dec. 19, 2007

WASHINGTON - Congress on Wednesday passed a long-stalled bill inspired by the Virginia Tech shootings that would more easily flag prospective gun buyers who have documented mental health problems. The measure also would help states with the cost.

"Rather than focusing on improving the current laws prohibiting people with certain mental health disabilities from buying guns, the bill is now nothing more than a gun lobby wish list," said Kristen Rand, legislative director of the Violence Policy Center. "It will waste millions of taxpayer dollars restoring the gun privileges of persons previously determined to present a danger to themselves or others."

The original bill would require any agency, such as the Veterans Administration or the Defense Department, to notify a person flagged as mentally ill and disqualified from buying or possessing a gun...

1) Halliburton billed taxpayers $1.4 billion in questionable and undocumented charges under its contract to supply troops in Iraq, as documented by the Pentagon’s own auditors.

2) Parsons billed taxpayers over $200 million under a contract to build 142 health clinics, yet completed fewer than 20. According to Iraqi officials, the rest were “imaginary clinics.”

3) Custer Battles stole forklifts from Iraq’s national airline, repainted them, then leased the forklifts back to the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) through a Cayman Islands shell company — charging an extra fee along the way.

What impeachable offenses have they committed?
If Congress had the political will to proceed with impeachment, are their "high crimes and misdemeanors" that are well-documented enough to justify it?

I am asking because I am curious to see if anyone really knows the answer.
I hear right-wing media claiming me to be liberal, while I hear left-wing media claiming me to be conservative. lets see if anyoen on yahoo really knows more than the media. i give a desiption of my beliefs and you tell me what I am, politically.

- all liberals have no clue on how to run a government, because they don't understand what needs to be done. It doesn't help that they are socialists.
-I believe in traditional moral values
-I don't believe in gun control
- I believe that a strong central government is natural and invitable, and a strong military should be used to revive traditional moral values within America, and promote the American way of life overseas.
- I believe that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear from a strong central government.
-there is no "we or them", with power come responsibilities, and one of those is to make sure that there is no "them".
