I'm not talking about their politics, or corruption. I'm talking about acting just plain crazy.

Just to mention presidents and vice presidents, in the US, plenty of people hate/hated Bush, Clinton, Cheney, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Barkeley, Roosevelt, Hoover... going all the way back to Washington.

But this was mostly based on their POLITICS.

Vice President Andrew Johnson made weird, drunken, rambling speeches in public, was very close to iliterate, once pulled open his pants and urinated on the floor in a crowded room in the White House while visiting Lincoln, was said to have shot a man for disputing his answer to a riddle (no verification of that), had a good, healthy personal hatred of the slaveowners but ALSO hated the slaves...

Yet when he became president and was impeached, it was over POLITICS.

Vice president Spiro Agnew was forced to resign over bribes and other corrupt acts.

How crazy does a politician have to act in public before THAT gets them in trouble?

What can be done to address this issue? Should there be separate schools set up for English speaking pupils to ensure their education is not compromised at the expense of immigrants who will require more tuition?

...after their annual pension statements were sent to the wrong address. Any idea when the Government is planning on rolling this out for the 25 million people whose details where lost by the HMRC?

Or is it one rule for the political class, and another for the rest of us mere tax payers?

Notice the difference in terminology? The poor are supposedly brave / noble / good for sticking together...while in the meantime, wealthy folks are unfairly demonized for doing the same. This is nonsense!

This is a totally unacceptable double-standard and we simply aren't going to take it anymore!

Consider the following:

John Kerry is appreciated…at least by North Vietnamese General Vo Nguyen Giap

Reuters reported that during the 29th celebration of the fall of Saigon, Giap articulated his thanks to "the leaders of the U.S. antiwar movement." He did not specifically mention the dysfunctional flip flopping Massachusetts Senator by name, but he made it clear that without the help (aid and comfort) of the Fonda/Kerry crowd, the U.S. would have prevailed in Vietnam.

In a Wall Street Journal interview, NVA Colonel Bui Tin specifically credited leaders of the anti-war movement as being "essential to our strategy."

For a man who is so hated world wide, I find it amazing that he hasn't had a Reagan-like incident let alone a Lincoln-like incident. I'm relieved nothing has occurred as such, and I am by no means suggesting anyone should try assassinating the president.

If I had never met you and I told you I was a Republican, what assumptions would you make about my beliefs and lifestyle?

Please do not respond with assumptions about my intelligence or character.

I live in Australia and it happens here too, but I get confused when I read anything American and I see right-wingers calling the Democrats and their policies Socialist and that they want a big state and re-distribution of wealth when in fact by world standards the Democrats would sit on the Right of the political spectrum?

the govt pretty much conformed with capturing Sadam and blaming him for everythin. I mean he was implicated on the 911 ATTACK but Osama did to.

does the govt and Osama are on the same team therefore they are covering him instead of really looking for him.

I MEAN WE ARE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING we are the #1 how come we can find a stupid terrorist that lives in the mountains we have better equipment, etc than Osama ...... don't you think so???????????

The aid sent for rebuilding Afghanistan is mostly useless! 86 cents of every dollar given to them as "Aid" is spent on them having to purchase goods and services from USA. How can these poor countries afford expensive goods and services of US citizens when cheaper alternatives can be made available to them from other developing countries and more real aid spent at the ground level!
Do we want to see a rebuilt Afghanistan or leave it a mess again just like it was prior to the war?
Scandinavian countries give more in real Aid than USA!
