Do you STILL think its in the bag??....or has it BEEN bagged?

The one-time frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination faced a slue of bad news, and committed a series of what where perceived to have been “blunders” in her campaign. By the end of the week, her campaign had sustained a key resignation, a key defection, and a growing chorus of commentators saying that her campaign was in trouble, and that Mrs. Clinton could end up losing all four early primary races.

The US gives a lot of aid to poorer countries every year. In recent years many of these countries have become more arrogant towards the US, undermining its role as a superpower and humiliating it. In the UN and at certain conferences, the status of America has been ignored. Should we halt aid to these countries, even if we have a president that seems to be intentionally screwing things over? America may not be the country it once was, but we shouldn't receive snotty attitudes from countries that we help. If the money doesn't help -one more reason to stop giving it. Not to mention the US debts and deficits...soon we may need aid from others...

stand for?

I will be honest I am not the biggest Ron Paul fan, I think some of his ideas are a bit radical, plus I am NOT conservative, but I do study politics and history.....Ron Paul definitely stands for everything a "traditional" conservative stands for, even a classical liberal! (Yes there are idealist constitutionalist non-"commy" Liberals!)
Why are so many conservatives against him, almost threatened by him? At a time where Republican leadership is at a decline in this country, why don't conservatives stand behind this man instead of trying to find "Bush's replacement"
Fox News and many conservative news outlets bash Ron Paul contiually....he probably has more liberal supporters, yet to me, he seems like the ideal conservative candidate?

Is this because:

a--Most Americans are conservative
b--Most Americans are more interested in what conservatives have to say than liberals
c--Conservative talk is less agonizing than liberal talk
d--Liberals are irrelevant
e--All the above

(I listed Dr. Laura as conservative because she's tougher than most marines and praises her paratrooper son every show.)

...even if it cost slightly more than petroleum, or do you like things just the way they are?

I guess what I'm getting at is would you pay slightly more for a new energy knowing that your money wouldn't be pumped back to the Middle East?

They are constantly treating people around the world who criticize America as "the enemy" or as "anti-American".

Don't they understand that the people they REALLY have to worry about are the ones that DON'T criticize America...because they don't believe we can improve?

If you really want America to be able to exercise leadership in the world - and I do, as long as it is peaceful leadership in line with international law - then you have to listen to wise people when they tell you what you are doing wrong.

A new car? Did "we" prevent Iraq's multiple squadrons of stealth bombers from reaching these shores? Or was it his fleet of battleships and nuclear subs? I mean, after a trillion dollars and four years of occupation, we got something out of the deal right?
