I have posed a similar question before.
Lets say there were conclusive proof that Saddam had Nukes that would make Dubya blush.

December 13, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Taxpayers have footed the bill for more than $16,000 in flowers sent from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi since she took power in January, it was revealed yesterday.

"I understand that the speaker has ceremonial obligations, but at the time of budget crunch - at the time of the war - I think this sends the wrong message," said Rep. Peter King (R-NY).

$16,000 could have bought an awful lot of bullets, for example, that our troops overseas could have used to send Jihadists to their eternal reward

I am a liberal myself, so I will know how accurate you are...

Conservative stereotype:
The guy who has a mullet and a beer gut who stands half-naked in his front yard to tell the TV crew about what the Tornado did to his trailer and about Jesus saved the day...

Best answer will go to the person who nails it on awful "liberal" stereotypes.

Enjoy :)

I am sure she must have done good things for New York state as senator, since she is running, but I dont really recall any monumental thing she did as the first lady? Do you know any? I am asking this for my own personal knowledge, so I can make a good decision when choosing a candidate. Thanks.

The israelies was just in( Anapolis) last week and promissed to stop the settlments in Palastinian lands, then on the same day they advertised new contracts to build new settelments on the palastinian land!!!
then condaliza rice was sitting with the israelies 3-4 days ago and expressed the us worries about building new settelments which embaress the us and asked the israelies to stop as agreed,
but the answer came the next day from israel, that they will continue despite any american objection!!!!!
this is israel the biggest country o receive all kind of aid, wepons & money from us every year,
so instead of supporting the us,they mean to embaress it and show to al the world how can they CARE LESS about us opinion.
and this is not the first time!!!
"Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim rejected on Saturday the warnings of U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who said Israel's plan to build 300 housing units in the East Jerualem neighborhood of Har Homa could jeopardize U.S.-backed peace"

We've all heard the ignorant weirdos who protest at Walmart to get people to stop saying "happy holidays".

And we've all seen so much prejudice toward Muslims (right here on this website).

But when you read a story like this:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/12/12/subway.attack/index.html?section=cnn_latest
how does it affect you?

Bin Laden was a desgruntled employee of the U.S. or so the story goes. The U.S realises what the Bin Laden threat could cause and rather keeps him on the payroll and uses him to slam into the WTC and wreak havoc across the world. The U.S now has reason to "fight" terror. Kind of like Good cop Bad Cop. It's just a theory, tell me what do you think....

The point is that the neoconservatives do realize this. Their defeat in Iraq and Israel's defeat in Lebanon has taught the neoconservatives that the US cannot prevail in the Middle East by conventional military means. As I have previously explained, the neoconservatives' plan is to escape the failure of their Iraq plan by orchestrating a war with Iran in which the US can prevail only by using nuclear weapons. As previously reported, the neoconservatives believe that the use of nuclear weapons against Iran will convince Muslims that they must accept US hegemony.
The neoconservatives have put the elements of their plan in place. They have powerful naval forces on station off Iran's coast. They have convinced President Bush that only by attacking Iran can he prevail in Iraq.

The neoconservatives have rewritten US war doctrine to permit preemptive US nuclear attack on non-nuclear countries. (2) They have demonized Iran as the greatest threat since Hitler.

into doing things and accepting things and going along with programs they never otherwise would dream of accepting?

and isn't true that given opportunities to eliminate the bogey man, the tyrant actually will drag his feet and let the bogey man get away and continue to operate and "make threats" because a live and active bogey man is much more valuable to the tyrant than a dead one or one that is in custody?

Is Obama going to pull out the troops immediately? I heard a rumor that he was not going to do this. So I looked up the sources and could not find a CREDIBLE source. Then I watched video, the most recent debate, and in it, he said that he was going to pull them out starting now at a rate that is safe. A lot of people seem to be misinformed concerning this rumor which was probably started by competition. Someone give me the video link if I am wrong.

How is lying to a hostage taker in order to save lives or shooting someone to save a friend any different than waterboarding someone to save lives...many lives? I mean isn't shooting someone more severe?

Some opponents of waterboarding talk about preserving our constitutional rights...but what about the constitutional rights of those who lives are endanger? We forget about their freedom.

Would any of you not use waterboarding...if it could have stopped 911?
Would any of you not use waterboading...if it could prevent someone from killing YOUR family?

I think these are tough questions that we need to ask. We don't necessarily have to know right now...but I think we need to think about it thoroughly before we discount it.

I agree with waterboarding if there is a strict criteria that justifies it (which I am sure there is...for legal means)
Why? Because I want to protect the constitutional rights of others.
Where am I wrong?

All points are welcome...I CAN TAKE IT.
