December 13, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Taxpayers have footed the bill for more than $16,000 in flowers sent from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi since she took power in January, it was revealed yesterday.
"I understand that the speaker has ceremonial obligations, but at the time of budget crunch - at the time of the war - I think this sends the wrong message," said Rep. Peter King (R-NY).

Libs enjoy spending your tax dollars; they don't want you to take your child to the doctor, so they take your money away so they can help an illegal alien get his driver's license, so it'll make it easier for the cops to spell his name on the accident report after he kills 3-4 people while driving drunk on a truck with an expired registration from out of state.
That's the Dems some people want in office in November. "Spending the money that Americans won't spend".

Because the Democrats like to wastefully spend our tax dollars so they can turn around later and say we need to increase taxes to pay for their pet projects. If they were responsible in their spending, there would be no reason to increase taxes.
