spelling might help, but, in reality doen't the two words really mean the same thing. When I was younger I had a belief that politicians were "better" than the majority of the public, now I've grown up and seen reality. Show me a politician and there is something hidden. It's just a matter of how bad it really is, makes the difference of are they truly corrupt. Compare Bill and Monica-- no real big deal. Georgie and the
war--real bad, our VP, Cheney --- off the scale.
Some politicians have the charimisma to fend it almost all off-- Kennedy

Politicians aren't politicians until they're corrupt.
No sane, normal human being would want to take a public office for what the position officially pays.
Think about it.
Whether they're corrupt in accepting bribes, corrupted by the thought of wielding power, or corrupt in seeking the attention of interns... politicians are not normal people.

All you have to do is look at the campaign finance laws. We have legalized bribery in this country.
Congress doesn't even try to hide it.
