I hear liberals always blaming republicans of supporting corporate welfare. What about the democrats? Do they not pander to big corporate agricultural lobbyists? Not talking local farmers, but big agro companies (whom get the majority of agro subsidies). Do they not bend over backward for billionaire professional sport franchises, making the tax payers pay some of the stadium costs? Democrats also do the same for college sports teams.

Aren't the democrats just as guilty as the republicans when it comes to corporate welfare??

Terrorists use violent action in orber to achieve political aims or to force government to act.Terrorism is caused by the conflict of interests between terrorist and government. But the popular people often lost their lives in the conflict. It's innocent for them.

If yes, both men and women? Age cutoff?

Personally I think we shouldn't NEED to. People should WANT to fight for their country. We shouldn't HAVE to force them into it! They should be proud to fight! But if we were to say that, they'd make it out as if we are victimizing the youth of America or whatever.

First of all, that would make George H. W. Bush SATAN, and THAT doesn't seem right. Secondly, don't you think that the antichrist would be a little more suave and a little less, uh, blundering? Thirdly, if THAT guy is the son of Satan, then Satan doesn't seem all that scary to me. HE can't be all that bright either. I could go on and on...

The president and his lawyers now claim the authority to designate any American citizen he chooses as being an "enemy combatant"; and to define both "torture" and "material support" broadly. They claim the authority to give anyone in the executive branch the power to knock on your door, seize you on the street, or grab you as you are changing planes at Newark or Atlanta airports; blindfold you and put earphones on you; take you to a cell in a navy prison; keep you in complete isolation for months or even years; delay your trial again and again; and make it hard for you to communicate with your lawyer. The president claims the authority to direct agents to threaten you in interrogations and allow into your trial things you confessed to while you were being mistreated.

The president claims the authority to do any of those things to any American citizen now on his say-so alone.

Israel: U.S. Iran Report May Cause War

JERUSALEM — Israel's public security minister warned Saturday that a U.S. intelligence report that said Iran is no longer developing nuclear arms could lead to a regional war that would threaten the Jewish state. In his remarks — Israel's harshest criticism yet of the U.S. report — Avi Dichter said the assessment also cast doubt on American intelligence in general, including information about Palestinian security forces' crackdown on militant groups. The Palestinian action is required as part of a U.S.-backed renewal of peace talks with Israel this month. Dichter cautioned that a refusal to recognize Iran's intentions to build weapons of mass destruction could lead to armed conflict in the Middle East. He compared the possibility of such fighting to a surprise attack on Israel in 1973 by its Arab neighbors, which came to be known in Israel for the Yom Kippur Jewish holy day on which it began.
