History has a knack for vindicating people after a long time to reflect on their actions. Harry Truman was very unpopular in his day, but is now looked on a good President. Abraham Lincoln was so unpopular the union broke up when he was elected, and almost lost re-election. Now, he's ranked with George Washington. When the smoke clears, and the Middle East has bastions of capitalism and Democracy, historians will note that President Bush was one the reasons that happened.

Like Joseph McCarthy he will be proven to have been correct while his opposition will be seen as the traitors to their country that they are. Much as Churchill was despised until England was bombed so Is Bush until the truth is wrenched from the fists of the corpse that is the dieing leftist media.

No. Hell no! He will be seen as someone with little respect for the Constitution and one of the worst Presidents in history. He led us into the Iraq War without approval of Congress, and he completely disregarded his conservative base in his second term.

Unless he manages to pull off some memorable diplomatic event, a la Nixon, or some great social legislation, he will go down in history as one of the worst presidents. And currently, he lacks the political capital to pull anything like that off.
