Someone would have to be pretty uninformed to think that Ron Paul is deranged. Pretty un...in...formed.

Property Rights and Eminent Domain
The Second Amendment
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.

I wouldn't call him deranged. That would be calling 10% of South Carolina deranged, as that is how many supported him in a recent poll (Huckabee in the lead). That would also call his represented region in Texas deranged, because they elect him in such a landslide each election Democrat's don't even run against him. He also has great Internet support.
Now, I am not a Ron Paul supporter. He lacks tact in his methods and his supporters brag too much about his fundraising. It is unreasonable for him to win the Republican primary, but this is America, and he has a voice which can be heard, and he deserves to be. He also is poising himself quite nicely for an Independent run.

Its only an opinion but none of the rich elitists that are running for the office of President is worth a fart in a windstorm. All are just like all other politicians that have come before and all they are going to do is baffle the US public with BS. Our biggest problem is this false patriotism many feel since the Pres blew up the trade center towers.
Ron Paul or for that matter, who is running is almost like entertainment tonight. Fake people making ridiculous statements
The adage of 1 vote 1 voice is no longer viable. Its more like who can tell the most convincing lies. Vote at your own peril.

Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean he is deranged. His decade as a Congressman probably gave the idea that he can be elected to office.

While I disagree with Ron Paul on some national security issues he is hardly deranged.... misguided... incorrect... clueless on world politics... yes...but not deranged... in any case he is correct on several other issues. Like the Constitution and taxes among others

What is deranged about Constitutional government? As to thinking that he might be elected, millions of Americans are tired of being victimized by criminal politicians.

He's not deranged and he is currently a US Congressman so I guess he has a pretty good reason to think he can win an election.

the best way for republicans to get rid of the last true conservative in american politics is to do what they are best at:
making up lies and have a largely uneducated american public fall for it.
