The left will refuse to let go ad infinitum as they have nothing valid to cry about...They've screwed up everything they have touched and feel that their senseless rhetoric against our president bears them some sense of legitimacy. Because at the end of a presidency is when the President is truly able to support what he wants, to support the image of the country he believes in. Now is the most important time in a presidency and is valuable in detirmining the effectiveness of the term.
And you're right, change is coming. But if you don't take time to listen to somebody's argument, how can you refute it?

He's still very powerful, and he'll be in office for more than another year. He can do a lot of good or a lot of damage. If nothing else, he can continue to veto everything Congress passes. It's hard to go for more than a year with the government unable to accomplish anything.
