Personally I think abortion is completely unwarranted in most cases. But my feeling is what one does is on their own conscience. It is politically a powerfull non issue used to pander votes from people who feel that it is the only issue of importance. Right up their with gay marriege. The Supreme court has squarley placed both these issues in the power of state legislature to decide. Yet people keep trying pandering for these votes on a subject that will not be, and should not be settled at the federal level.
I do have severe issues with non notification laws for minors. If the person is under 18 and not emancipated the legal gaurdian should be notified before any medical procedure. This goes for crossing state lines without parents consent to get an abortion. It is wrong. If the child really has something to fear from their parents knowing about their abortion than the authorities and child services need to be involved.
Also I don;t like that someone can take the child across state lines to get an abortion without parental notification. If it was for any other purpose it would be kidnapping.

First of all... abortion is NOT birth control.
It is actually the last options for someone who has run out of options.
According to the CDC, the overwhelming number of abortions perfomed are for women who already have one or more children... about 85%... in other words, they are already at critical mass and cannot support any more children.
Secondly, if there is actually someone out there that is unconscious enough to have more than one of these procedures... just understand that each abortion using the DNC method produces scar tissue in the uterus that subsequent eggs cannot adhere to... nobody can have more than perhaps 5 without becoming sterile... maximum of 8. With that said, I would say that abortion is a self-solving problem.
I say if they don't want babies, that is fine.
The government needs to stay out of womens' crotches.

I certainly am not taking an altogether ban view of it, but I feel that there should be medical regulation/consultation, and that it should be regarded as a life-saving procedure, and that adoption or other certain alternatives should receive notice as well. There is so much value as I feel in the life of a human being, even in the very power we have as human beings to reproduce or procreate. It is a great power, and there is just the powerful realization that sometimes comes when you think that you have such power, in realizing the responsibility that comes with this must also be. I just don't feel that this issue can be, or will be taken lightly for a while.
However, the case file for Roe v. Wade, the controversial decision in our Supreme Court can be found here, for anyone who wants to know the true details as to what the ruling had in dispute, and what it entails.

here is a break down
if the fetus is 0-3 months old: sure..have an abortion
4-6: i'll think about it...maybe
6-10: forget it.
I'm pro-choice as long as the baby is only a couple months old. I am against late term abortion and aborting when the baby is almost fully developed.

Pro birth control for adults. If enough people took the time to use them ,we wouldn't have all these unwanted pregnancies. It's common sense.

Same place I always have. I am against it. But I refuse to force my view on anyone else. Now if only the liberals could take a lesson from that and stop being such nosy busy bodies.

Pro-choice. People who think abortion is a bigger issue than full-grown human beings being slaughtered by their government in Darfur (and by the U.S. in Iraq) are off their rockers.
And banning abortion is just utterly medically stupid and arcane. What do we live in, Colombia and Somalia and Bangladesh? These are the kinds of countries where abortion is illegal.

P.S. It's nice you're brainwashed by religious right rhetoric. "Fetuses," unfortunately for you, are not "babies." They are also very different from babies and from adult human beings.

I don't like it, I believe more options should be given to a woman considering an abortion, but I do not think it should be illegal.
If abortions were illegal, only criminal back alley butchers would profit from it.

I believe it should be up to the individual states to vote on. We don't need the federal government sticking it's nose in everything. Same goes for gay marriage, leave it up to the states.
As for my personal view. It's pretty much a non issue for me, but a woman should have a right to choose up to a certain timeframe in the pregnancy. I am against partial birth abortions, though.
