Sure...if it existed.
Ethanol hasn't worked out so well to date, and fuel cell technology is a ways off.
Maybe if we knocked off the executives, Board of Directors, etc... of the major oil companies and the auto industry, as well as their lobbyists we might make some progress. As long as there are billions to be made in conventional autos and fuel, they will resist development to the last man.

If I could afford an ethanol car, I would. Ethanol is actually cheaper than regular fuel. Also, I saw a report on a hydrogen fueled car created by an inventor, it's costs over six figures, but with a little enginuity it could be made for much less. I believe their are many other options out there besides petrolium based fuel supplies. It's just going to take a while before their feasable and affordable.

I would gladly pay more for regular fuel from American sources we are not willing to engage environmental groups are holding the development of these resources hostage for a pay off. That said I don't want to pay more for that oil just because some environmental groups lawyers want a big hand out.
Bio Diesel has good potential but we should be careful not to use food stock products for its production or food costs will soar. I like the algae projects they are studying and would gladly pay more to replace all foreign oil with non food stock produced bio diesel if we could.

Hydrogen is being held back, because it must be produced by a fermentation process. Only recently, have they discovered how to increase production and make it more efficient. As production get more efficient, so it will keep pace with demand, you will start to see the technology appearing on the market.
I would love to know where netjr, gets his misinformation, so I know to stay away from it, so I won't get brainwashed.

I believe we have free energy technologies that have been kept from us for over 100 years.
Notice that it would cripple the power structure of the world to not have to pay for electricity and gas...
Stoern is the newest inventors of this trying to bring it to market
