Pro:
Guaranteed housing and work based on your skills.

Con:
You don't get to choose.

Edit: Thought you meant the benefits of communism. I don't think there's any benefits of being a communist in a capitalist society. People will refuse to give up their individualism and won't trust you.

Equally, communism can provide more equality than democracy. Of course both have its ups and downs side.
Some view democracy as anarchy, some see communism as system of restrictions to peoples lives.

none!

Communism is great....for the ants!!!!!

but individualistic human beings are not made to be all the same..do YOU like been treated and order to do what someone else determines you should be doing?

that is what Communism is reality in all its "glory" is really like, "the needs of the many outweights the needs of the few", no individual freedom, all are the same, all are order by one central gov to do what it wants, never mind what you want to do, no room for your individual desires, needs, etc...would you like that?

Democracy, individual freedom is the way to go!

depending on who is running the governent. communism is suppose to be ang egalitarian tenet. but, when those in power do not follow the tenet of communism, no one benefits but them. The idea or tenet of communism is good. everyone must be equal,
