The United States and Canada might make sense as they are very much alike.

As for Mexico there is a huge difference in terms of language, culture, and GDP per capita.

It would be hard to overcome those differences.

NO, it's a threat to our national sovereignty. It undermines the Constitution & the Bill of Rights. The government is slowly working to eliminate the middle class. Before long we'll be just like Mexico. Furthermore it explaines why the government is dragging their heels on the illegal immigration promlem. Soon there won't be as many illegals. It scare's the hell out of me. They want to call it the American Union.

I can imagine the northern U.S. states combining with Canada, since most of their people have a similarly decent level of education. But there's no way the entire U.S. can unite with Canada, because all the southern yahoos would just screw it up. And nobody wants Mexico, as the only commodity they have ever produced is immigrants.
