If I had never met you and I told you I was a Republican, what assumptions would you make about my beliefs and lifestyle?

I would assume that you are middle to upper class, college educated, that you support the military, and like to spoil yourself by buying things you don't necessarily need. I would assume that you don't worry too much about people with less money than you, you support tax breaks for corporations and the rich, and that you are conservative when it comes to sexuality and abortion.
(I am registered to vote as a republican, and don't fit many of the above categories, so don't think I'm an a$$....)

I would assume that you work hard and EARN your money, that you take care of your family, that you make good money the right way, that you had life experiences that led you to use common sense on a regular basis.

I would assume, that you want an abortion ban, and ignore the fact that enforcement of one would raise taxes.

I would assume that you potentially listen to right-wing talk radio and should be on my guard, just in-case you start spewing misinformation.

I would assume, that you view laws to govern morality are ok, and are willing to pay taxes only for the purpose of enforcing your beliefs on others.

I would assume, that you are only going to read about 4 lines of my answer before giving it a thumbs down, and ignoring the rest of it.

I would assume you really don't want an answer other than one that boosts your ego, considering you are asking about what we would assume about your character, but don't want comments about it.
