Consider the following:

John Kerry is appreciated…at least by North Vietnamese General Vo Nguyen Giap

Reuters reported that during the 29th celebration of the fall of Saigon, Giap articulated his thanks to "the leaders of the U.S. antiwar movement." He did not specifically mention the dysfunctional flip flopping Massachusetts Senator by name, but he made it clear that without the help (aid and comfort) of the Fonda/Kerry crowd, the U.S. would have prevailed in Vietnam.

In a Wall Street Journal interview, NVA Colonel Bui Tin specifically credited leaders of the anti-war movement as being "essential to our strategy."

Absolutely!!!! That is why the media should get out of the war zone and let our soldiers do their job. We do not need to be a paper tiger and will not be if people wake up and understand these people want to kill us. As Bin Ladin once said we have plenty of time patience for we have been weaving rugs for centuries. Remember without OUR technology they would not have the funds to fight against us. Instead of oil revenues they would still be weaving.
Interesting Question, I can only hope more people understand that public outcry of being against the war does nothing but harm our kids over in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Once Abu Ghraib hit the news we lost our moral high ground. We can still win this war but the outcome hangs on a razors edge. Since our media is only concerned with selling stories and air time this puts us at a disadvantage as stories of our troops mistreating prisoners while isolated and remote, is extremely reprensible. The military should have been allowed handle the problem inhouse and away from the prying eyes of the public until appropriatly severe punishment had been administered. But hey CNN wanted to sell airtime and they played right into the terrorists hands.

Just my humble opinion

she surely did cross the line and became a traitor. If a bugular is coming through your window and you shoot them, you have to believe that your life was in danger. If not, you could be charged with murder. I feel she more than exceeded the definition of treason. Free speech, first amendment rights are one thing, going over to the enemies cities, making recordings, etc. is something else. She is a maggot. She should have just faded away and try to understand what she did. No class.

From the time that movable type was invented, the battles were as much for the minds of the opponents populace as they were for battlefield victories. It would appear that the North Vietnamese and now the jihadist have learned that lesson very well, and know how to play the PR game.
The fact that we have half a country full of blind, idealistic imbeciles makes their job that much easier.

General Giap also said that most of the North Vietnamese leadership was leaning toward surrender but didn't because they believed that the Anti-war movement in the US would help them immensely....and it did. I'm sure that the "modern terrorists" will use that knowledge.

I notice the spin from the left hit hard and eraly. Good job. All of us with brains know that it is true. When I signed up I swore to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic, I have always been confused then why I am not allowed to take my gun and shoot leftists, anti-war traitors and liberals on sight.

Who cares about Kerry? He's been in on it with Bush all along. Anti-War Traitors, what? Like Bush didn't betray us by leading us into this crappy quagmire in the first place? It's a betrayal to America at this point to still be *for* this mistake of a War.
The thing that emboldens those who intend to harm us the most is the fact that Bush is such a munch to the rest of the world that no one will have our backs when we run out of resources and our soldiers are tired; *then* they'll attack. The only way to prevent this is to practice our basic inherent freedom of speech, that was provided for us by the Constitution.
