considering that fascism gains it power through the beliefs, that " you have nothing to fear, if you have nothing to hide", I would say any party that swings right.
While most people think it is a left ideology, because Hitler claimed to be socialist, he was actually a right-winger living the life of a monarch while his serfs lived a socialist life style.
centralization of power usually occurs under right-wing authoritarians.
A socialist/communist system, works as a nice tool to keep their masses from revolting.
With that in mind, fascists promote their preferred religion, while lacking ontolerance to others. Won't find that under liberal ideology.
They also find ways to demonize and eventually destroy other parties to promote one party, or totalitarian systems, much like the you hear the right-wing republicans on yahoo screaming.

What exactly defines fascism is debatable. Nazi Germany was controlled solely by the National Socialist Party. If either the Democrats or Republicans had complete control over the government that would be a form of Fascism. Before Nazi Germany was defined as Fascist the label Fascist was not always viewed as bad. So Fascism can take on many forms depending on the cause of the entity controlling the government.
Do I think the Republicans or Democrats are Nazis (fascists from your article)? No that is just political mud throwing and pointless.
We do need to promote Liberty here in American however. Liberty is what has made us the greatest nation in the history of the world. Support Ron Paul!

I immediately think of the American Nazi Party. Since that party is derived from the National Socialist Party of World War 2 fame, and that was a form a fascism, I believe it's as close as you're going to get.

Fascists were a Socialist party of the "right"... heavily dependent on the military-industrial complex of Germany...
Fascists were rabidly against the Communists and Leftists...
Does that not sound more like the party of Bush & Cheney ?

Republicans......because if you don't believe what they tell you........or you say something they don't like they will ridicule you for it. A party that advocates such behavior isn't the kind I would want to be associated with!

These "14 points of fascism" were invented in 2003 by leftists in an attempt to compare Bush to the Nazis. Most of these points have nothing to do with Bush anyway, but leftists like to imagine that they do. Fascism is totalitarian system of government, which in the case of Nazi Germany arose out of socialism.

Clinton Democrats.
Bill gave the RIAA (not even a law enforcement agency) the right to enter your home and seize your computer (all without a warrant) if they just THINK that you MAY have downloaded a song from the internet.
And, let us not forget that he also gave us Eschelon.
And then there is Hillary with socialized health care, and the redistribution of wealth and corporate profits.
