There is no correct answer to this question. There are some liberals who are good Christians, and there are some who aren't. Same for conservatives. Does seem strange that those that want no mention of God in politics tend to come from the liberal side of the ledger.
BTW, for the person that said Jesus was a radical liberal, I don't see his life that way. I believe he was a-political, since his kingdom was not of this world. (Just my opinion)

Your real question should be, "who follows the Christian teachings more; Liberals or Conservatives".

Your current question just asks how many are Christian, and that's obviously Conservatives. But do they live their lives as Jesus would; hell no! I'm honestly waiting for the day that Jesus comes back, and him telling them all, "THAT'S NOW WHAT I MEANT!!!".

But when you revise the question, then it's Liberals. We tend to follow the teachings of being caring, non-judgemental, accepting, etc. more than Conservatives do.

You can walk the walk, but you can't talk the talk, I say to Conservatives. What they say they believe in and their actual values just go to show that the most hypocritical people on the face of this earth are the ones sitting on the front row in church every Sunday.

Who slams Christians the most? Liberals
Who slams Christmas the most? Liberals
Who slams Christian values the most? Liberal

Are atheists usually lib or con? Liberal
Are gays usually lib or con? Liberal
Are feminists usually lib or con? Liberal

Which party is associated with religious values and evengelical views? Conservatives.

Do a head count and prove me wrong, but I think this pretty much sums it up.

(Incidently, since I'm military, I've moved all over the country, and I've attended somewhere north of 20 churches in the last 10 years. We always talked politics, and liberals were extremely rare--likely less than 10%.)

That's a good question.
I'd suppose it'd depend upon each individual.
I also don't think its anyone's place to judge who is more Christian.

I will say two things though.
There are probably more conservative Christians than liberal ones. But, I'm a firm believer that, were Jesus around today, he'd be a Democrat.

If by 'Christian' you mean 'Like Jesus' then liberals are more Christian. Jesus was a radical liberal. If by 'Christian' you mean sanctimonious, hypocritical and self-righteous, then Republican. Real conservatives are more reasonable and rational (but still not like Jesus).

Well Christ was pretty radical but the Old Testament wears a long grey beard. Why does it matter what Christians believe anyway? Most don't put their beliefs into practice on a day to day basis anyway...

Conservatives. Christians are warned to not stray into the grey area...it's a narrow road that leads to our ultimate glory. Liberals are willing to compromise or alter their value system based on popular demand...maybe I didn't put that right...but hopefully you get the idea I'm trying to convey.
