America is now a world superpower, and has been since the end of the Second World War.

Why do British people, In particular, the lower classes and the lumpenproletariat, soak up the ideology and the ways of their American counterparts?
In particular, the ‘gangstas’ and the R&B music

Why is segregation imitated in Britain?

Why do Britain’s love American consumerism?

Why is a British perception of Americans played out? (i.e. lorry drivers having a confederacy flag behind them, cruising along the A30 heading to Truro at 50mph, avatar sunglasses and all?!? joke for the Cornish)

Feel free to post your thoughs on Americanism.

The war will cost $200,000,000,000 dollars this year. There are approximately 100,000,000 households. How will you pay for your $2,000 share?

Yes. They voted for the war based upon numerous assertions by the prez, chaney, rumsfeld, and Powell that were all either outright lies, a result of bad intelligence, bad analyzation, or plain stupidity.

I'm not sure any Demos would have voted for the war had they know the truth. For that matter, how many Repubs would have?

Come on, you "patriots" who think its unpatriotic to to question the prez (unless he's a democrat), would you stll have supported the Iraq war had you know then what you know now?

A profound statement from an old Soldier from the past that still holds true.
Agree or disagree, we are in a war. Shouldn't our leaders in Congress provide us with the leadership, the means to win , and the will to win?

Pfo said: The reasons for this are vast, but not any part of me believes it is intentional. If you have a house of people with AK47s, they'll call in air support and blow it up. Only later will they find out the bottom floor was a family of 5. They'll probably lump them with the insurgents when they publish a death toll. A sad state of affairs, but the alternative is to let them operate with impunity hiding amongst an innocent population. We cannot do that, it's become an us or them thing: people are going to have to die. If you had to choose to kill American soldiers or innocent Iraqis, what would you pick? I'd be inclined to spare the Americans, but I know my answer is not nice or preferred.

The difference between the US v Saddam and terrorists in general is that Saddam and terrorists deliberately attack the innocent, whereas in our case 99.999% of the time it is collateral damage.

Even worse, Iraqi Kurs DID infiltrate and kill Turks in their country. Yet not ONE Iraqi has ever killed an American on US soil. Who has more of a right to "fight them over there"?

Bush today requested an additional $45 billion for the war, bringing the total for this year alone to $200 billion. The CBO now projects the total cost 10 years from now to be at least $2 trillion. Is there any end to the blind ignorance of this President? Is there any chance that the Democrats will finally show some guts and put a stop to this insanity?

OUCH! Unconstitutional? I don't think so. They still have their freedom of speech and freedom of being electrocuted or not. Hillary Clinton will either need to drop out of the race or expect to become more roasted than a Thanksgiving turkey. Guiliani might not get shocked as much but we will still get shocked by his controversial views. This is one scary election already with the two noted running. I hope one of the other candidates win because they all look better. BEWARE!
Armagedden is on its way!

And please please read the question carefully and answer appropriately . Thank you .

Why is it that the Bible and Pastors teach that abortion is wrong , but some of you think it's right ? - This confounds me . Do you honestly think that God will return and approve of such acts ?
Does it trouble you to see God removed from many sectors of our society ? Simple stuff too . Nativity Scenes , Christmas plays in school.. . or any reference to Christmas for that matter .
Have ya ever asked yourself just how WAS it ok for about 200 years and all of a sudden , it's not ?
Do you think that when Jesus returns he would approve of the fact that His Father was removed from our schools and our society ?

And if you think I'm judging , guess again . I am a sinner and so are you . I'm not 'above' you in any way . But it troubles me to see what appears to be a decision to follow 'Party Ideology' and not God's Ideology . And if you're really a Christian , then you know I have the right to ask .

I know they agree with everything that GWB does,
They think The Sun rises and sets in Israel,
They think that trillions of our taxes should be spent on war and not on safeguarding American children....
That faith based doctrine is better than scientific facts...
That Women have no place in deciding their fate.....
That minorities are not really American.....
That being White (except Jewish) is right and might.....
That Muslims and Arabs are sub human.......

But hey, is it fair to call them sheeple???????
