Now that makes a lot of sense. Bush talked about how he vetoed the bill on children's health because he wants to force the senate and congress to be conservative with money and slow down the spending ... but turns around and asks for 46 billion more for war. Now that is control on spending isn't it.
When will someone stand up to this president and tell him enough is enough? Is that all our tax money is good for? Wars? I wish Bush would ask for 46 billions to make sure our social security don't fall over, that our heath insurance is affordable, that our roads are clean, our bridges strong and our schools safe and high in standard. I hate the fact that my tax money helps shed human blood ... all for nothing and with no good reason at all. What a travesty of politics.

Here we go again...the ever expanding war budget. But who cares anyways let the future generations digest our mistakes right? After all that's the American way :)

Since the Bush administration knows that when they're out of the Whitehouse, it'll be very difficult for the USA to bomb Iran, simply because no DEMOCRAT president would ever just bomb, without first getting as many countries as possible involved in negotiations, etc., and if the Bush/Cheney administration heads one with what appears to be an already made decision according to some, how would they go about it?

Unless I'm totally wrong, I don't think any Democrat will approve an attack, and most Republicans for that matter, neither, after what happened in Iraq. So how will it be done? What are the special powers a president can invoke? Are these powers irrevocable? Can the president circumvent anything?

who has brought peace and stability to the middle east. Thank God we dont' have a leader in the white house who goes around pouring fuel on raging fires and makes things worst than they already are.

Too bad we can't keep Bush around for another 8 years. At this rate of peacemaking, think of the world we would live in after 16 years of this great man.

Rick Santorum is at it again with the Islamo Facsist crapola He's Sponsored by nimrod David Horowitz, but I ask you who are the real fascists?
As an actual college professor, Juan Cole of the University of Michigan, has noted, the Islamo-Fascism label makes no sense:

Fascism is not even a very good description of the ideology of most Muslim fundamentalists. Most fascism in the Middle East has been secular in character, as with Saddam Hussein’s Baath Party. Fascism involves extreme nationalism and most often racism. Muslim fundamentalist movements reject the nation-state as their primary loyalty and reject race as a basis for political action or social discrimination. Fascists exalt the state above individual rights or the rule of law. Muslim fundamentalists exalt Islamic law above the utilitarian interests of the state. Fascism exalts youth and a master race above the old and the “inferior” races. Muslim fundamentalists would never speak this way.

as has been stated here countless times?

what if someone were to create a religion that stated marriage was between any two consenting individuals?

or do we only recognize the definition given by certain religions such as christianity? isn't this endorsing a state religion?

Is it good at controlling Social Security, war, education, illegal immigration, taxes, rights, riots, fires, crime, legislation, the budget, anything? If you think they're not, then why would you put the government in charge of yours, and your children's health?

Are there any laws that prevent gay people from adopting? Can they provide the same "stability" as "traditional" couples. Also, do you think it is easier to for gay couples to adopt a child or the same sex, or is that irrelevant? I am not talking about trying to "convert" the child, or anything like that.

Thank You, as always.
