Politics - 24 October 2007

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Politics

One can help the community in his own ways. Entering the government is a popular way of doing it, though people highly doubt that it is their main motive especially high officials. Others, particularly the rich, choose to be away from the government and from politics. They help the community in their own ways by using their resources, their money.

Who is better? The one who is in the government (not rich) or the rich man? Why?

Moreover, others, though rich, still enter the government. What do you think is the reason for this?

Did voters stop trusting the democrats on national security because they got us into the Vietnam war or because they wanted to get us out? How will the war in Iraq effect the Republicans national security advantage over the next several decades.

All these people who are so called americans have taken for granted all the freedoms and liberties that are given to you all without realizing what freedom really is. Why are you all (mostly anglo/white americans) upset with illegal immigrants that are coming here. You all should have stopped this along time ago. I have read most of these blogs and everyone seems to think they are really intelligent by giving thier own opinion on the matter. It really confusing to say in this country we speak ENGLISH, but whos to say that in 100 years? If white people would quit taking thier anger with the mexicans/hispanics for the problems you all are facing today, you need to blame the government. You are all powerless to do so because no one has enough power to change that but the government. Dont take this out on the poor immigrants you need to stop it at the source. Dont turn this into a race card again. Get on your goverment to change this not the powereless immigants. Remember all we are getting is the poorest of mexico thats coming. Even in Mexico the white spaniards run all the government offices and media. Please learn from history's past and know that all empires and democracies dont last forever. We keep taking life and liberty for granted time and time again. There are bigger fish to fry like terrorism and China. Get back to what matters most is the survival of what america truly means.

like the GOP talking point of "fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them here", or is it because of a combination of airline security, homeland security, and immigration officials doing what Republicans voted against when Clinton was in office, and continued to ignore the first 9 months of Bush's first term?

Like some Americans, who think capitalism is a good system. Capitalism does NOT value equality. Everyone should be treated equally, regardless of race, sex, education, etc. Also people should paid exactly the same and given the same benifits. Alot of people think they are superior than others. Guess what? They are all wrong! There would be no competition, either, which is good, since competion is evil. I don't understand what is wrong with these ideals. They are very good and benifit everyone.

the right just denies it all together. while the left pracitces man-made global warming like a sunday at church.

ignorance by the right is just stupid.

religion by the left is akin to worshiping an invisible god in the sky. with the promise that man made the mess, man can fix the mess.

any way, back to reality. why is or rather WHAT is driving the reluctance to disclose to the public the earth's eccentricity and the orbit?

is mass hysteria the biggest dilemma? the fact that in-fact global warming is NOT man made and there is simply NOTHING we can do.

for some reason this man made promise is proliferating rather than the unbearable truth. the Milankovitch cycles are most likely getting the best of earth as we end the recent ice age.

too bad, and yes it is fightening. i can understand why "scientist" are ordered NOT to receal and discuss the truth of the rising temps as earth changes its orbit.
