I've been trying to quit smoking now for a week... and today is the first day I haven't had a craving!!

Oh and so I don't get reported...... how important are the presidential candidates ideas for keeping kids from smoking?

If so, why? If not, then please tell why as well. I am nuertal. I am not saying yes or no. However when ever I anyone I know (Besides my fmaly members) says "I hate Bush!!!" I ask why. I want to know how they our president has effected them individually. Most people can't give me a good reason. They say "He's just an idiot." So I feel like they are just following everyone else and not really apying attention to their descions. So how has he effected you? Good or bad?

was it global warming, which has changed weather patterns causing parts of CA to get less rainfall in recent years making conditions more ideal for wildfires?

was it federal and state mismanagement, who, in their desire to protect endangered species, would not allow residents in some areas to clear brush and dead vegetation?

was it the forestry services insistence of stamping out any and all wildfires, allowing for an accumulation of underbrush over several years and creating conditions which allowed fires to burn hotter, longer, and larger?

or was it, as the fundies might say, really an act of god?

i say its all of the above, except the fundie one.

Effectively there is a moratorium on executions until the Supreme Court rules. Why the constant sideshows by the anti death penalty crowd?Especially when you consider that to the best of my knowledge the Supreme Court has never declared and form of capital punishment unconstitutional. States simply changed to lethal injection in the hope of stopping this incessant bickering over executions being "cruel and unsusual"

Of course it didn't work so perhaps states should just go back to hanging and firing squads,both very humane and still legal forms of execution.Clearly those who bring these cases have no idea what the founding fathers meant when the forbid cruel punishments,because they certainly didn't mean no executions.

Example of a Democrat: loves to raise taxes, wants to negotiate with terrorist, kisses Iran's ***, Raises taxes, socializing Health Care so we can turn into Canada, Having taxpayers pay for socializing the health care system. Can anyone tell us by what % Bush cut taxes on a family of four that earns $50,000 per year?

Was it 1% because almost all of the cuts went to the rich?
Was it 10% ?
Was it 42% which means that income taxes are far less relevant to a important part of our culture?

A. If the troops weren't in Iraq, they would be here to blow the fire out.
B. Global warming, which is all Bush's fault, caused the fires in the first place.
C. FEMA, whose poor performance is all Bush's fault, is not reacting fast enough.

Please feel free to insert D. if you have a better theory on how Bush is to blame for forest fires. Eye witnesses have claimed that a white male actually started them. Could it be Bush himself?

Secret service 'detail' guarding Hillary Dianne Rodham Clinton?
After all, the "News Manglement Networks" are devoting hundreds of hours, daily, to reporting this fires, and not providing Hillary with Millions of dollars, daily to reporting on her activities !
There are at least 5 books out by 'Secret Service' Agents and State Troupers reporting the vile nastyness, vulgarities, she displays, even when in a 'normal' state of mind.
I am exceptionally happy NOT to be a part of the protective group around her, at this time, when she is not 'getting her way'!
Poor Billy Boy, I, as much as I detest him, actually feel sorry for him.

I am listening to his press conference right now, unfortunately, and am wondering if he really cares about those wealthy beings in which he gave tax cuts to. Did he care more or less about the people in New Orleans? Is it possible for him to care about anything? Does he have a brain? Does he enjoy saying people's names in which are hard to pronounce? Because it sure seems like it.
