Ha! Just goes to show that the Libs will say anything for political expediency. Even if it's as far from the truth as it can get.

I think these two idiots have managed to out-stupid each other on this one. If half the National Guard's equipment is in Iraq, then what the hell are the Guardsmen using right now? And moreover, how much firefighting equipment does the National Guard use, need or keep handy? They're there as manpower to help with evacuation efforts and to assist the firefighters; very few of them are trained in wildland fire fighting or management; it's not really in their job description.
Then there's Reid, using the fires to advance this cockamamie global warming crap. People could be dying out there. At the very least, they're losing their homes. For him to politicize it and use it to squeeze another drop of fear of global warming is unconscienable.
Who keeps electing these fools, anyway?

Can they be tied?
Dirty Harry is always an @ss. I hope that Rush business would bite him in the tookus but it probably won't. Actually I'm waiting for Gore to say these fires are making Global Warming worse and the fires are caused by humans.
I guess Barbs was so busy surveying the equipment, not praising the wonderful job of the firefighters are doing and being a moron for the Dream Act vote. It wouldn't have mattered.
While I dislike Governor Benedict Arnold, I hope he runs against her for Senate. He could beat that scum!

Gotta go with Boxer. She's implying that half the National Guards' equipment is in Iraq but the Guardsmen themselves stayed in California.
They're both incredibly stupid though. Tough call.

There is no choice. If you vote for one, you vote for the whole lot of them in congress, including Stark and Pelosi!
They are squirming more that 300lb woman in Volkswagon, trying to make the president look bad.

I have to give it to Boxer. Both are flaming idiots.
Boxer also needs to know there are 15,000 Nat. Guardsmen in CA that are waiting to be called on. So much for them being in Iraq.
Reid is just touting the liberal alarmist garbage to promote their agenda.

Oh you're a sad little fellow.
It would be nice to have the Nat'l Guard here so that they could suit up and work the fire lines. I'm shocked I need to explain that to you.
Interesting that you think of the Guard as weaponry and not people.
Mr. Reid was referring to the extraordinarily high winds we experienced that fueled these fires. Santa Ana winds have been known to gust up to 70 mph. That's normal.
This time they gusted up to 100 mph! That is abnormal.
The higher winds haven't been tied to global warming that I know of, but our severe drought this year has! Weather patterns are changing all over the world and that's the result of global warming; in CA too.

Bush Derangement Syndrome. Even fires are his fault.
At least it's not as bad as Katrina, when Republican controlled hurricanes targetted black people.
