That was a great movie! Chaplin said later that if he'd known what Hitler's 'final solution' for the Jews was going to be, he wouldn't have made the film, it wouldn't have been funny.

You make a good point, though. Wars are really all the same. Leaders always want to make us think this one is different. Both world wars were billed, going in, as the War to End All Wars.

I think you do not feel the change because our spirits do not change by aging ,and around this age there are many things to change us,work we have more experience,children are married we are now gran moms or grandfathers,if there is no children or work,wisdom, tolerance to others and to life is improved time when passes thighs around us are-changed so our look to it changes too many many other things can change us , I think you are little bit depressed to feel change may be because of 60 itself ,if so every age has its awn beauty look inside yourself carefully you will feel beauty and beautiful changes had happened
