If you say that you approve of everything he has done, you are lying. Nobody approves of everything all of the time.

Please be honest.

Thanks for the honesty, folks.

BTW- I'm not so sure Gore or Kerry would have had us hopping down the bunny trail if they would have attained the position.

What do I approve of, you ask?
When elder Bush did the first invasion, a lady I worked with informed me that baby Bush was being preened for the Presidency...records were being sealed, bigwigs were meeting with the baby way too often, etc, etc.
I did no follow up on her claims, and labeled her a wacko.
A decade later when baby Bush got the prize, her words resonated through my skull.
She was a political science wizard, according to some professors that I knew, and predicted, with way too much accuracy, what happened.
To be honest, I haven't looked for anything that I like in Bush...I am deeply troubled whenever the topic comes up.
She always told me that the elections were rigged, and her predictions were spot on. How did she know this a decade before most people even knew elder Bush even had offspring?
I don't know, but again, she was spot on.
I have never trusted the man.
Maybe she really was a crackpot, who randomly, somehow, predicted this.
I don't know.
The man creeps me out.

Slow progress on the border fence. The Amnesty bill. General spending.

Now, you're turn. What has the President done that you approve of? Nobody can disapprove of everything somebody does. So be honest and don't lie.

I don't approve of the way he spends money. It wasn't until 2 years ago that he realized that most of us were pissed about the way he was just signing bill after useless bill that added so much BS spending to the budget.

I don't approve of the way he has handled the war. We should have already been out of Iraq if he had done what the experts said needed to be done. Flood the country with US troops. Close down the borders and go building to building and disarm the entire country.

Other than that he hasn't done anything that I see as really wrong

Yes, him supporting the amnesty bill at the beginning of the summer, and not doing anything to stop illegal immigration. No child left behind sucks too. Also his attempt to slowly push through the North American Union, and his support of the Laws Of the Sea Treaty.

He has also increased the size of government, implemented the most social programs since LBJ and increased gov. spending. Not an ideal conservative republican.

Yes.
Spent way too much.
Not securing the border and supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Prosecuting 2 border agents for not filing proper paperwork, while giving immunity to a illegal alien drug smuggler.
Also, saving a illegally alien murderer from the death penalty.
This guy is really in bed with Mexico. I'm not sure what behind it.
Finally, he doesn't seem like he thoroughly understands the conservative philosophy. It's like he believes in conservatism, but doesn't really know why. So he ends up supporting things that move us toward liberalism in the name of "compassion".

i.opener is a liberal. A conservative wouldn't talk that stupid.

Well, plain and simple, I support the president, why ? Because he is the president. What is up with all these people's lacking respect for the office ? Especiall libs and deomcrats. It was ok for slick willy to get it on in the oval office, but if someone comes in, tries to do their best and does a semi-decent job but bungles here and there its ok to bash him cuz he's a conservative ? Slick willy got a free ride on alot of things.....lets start with the perjury and bombing Sudan for starts.
I don't like the way he continued with Nafta, its a questionable program at best that isn't helping America as much as it is meant to help Mexico.
I also don't like the way he tried to push the Amnesty act. Ted Kennedy said America wouldn't become the country it already has back in the 60's...he said when the Amnesty act in the 80's passed for over a million that there wouldn't be another Amnesty act like this again....then he writes the Amnesty act for 12 million (that we know of) which failed because the people in America are tired of corruption in Washington.
I don't like the fact he hasn't been on TV or giving new's media the slap down they need due to Demagoging every little situation that goes wrong.
In leadership, the leader solicites all the possible answers, the cause's...the effects, and makes a decision. He is the leader, that is why he is the leader, After which people support him or her and carries on in a fine American tradition of trusting things will be done with the people in mind. You don't run off like Poloski and try to undermine your own Government by talknig to the Terrorists, you don't waste the peoples time and lie to the American people from the senate floor. And IF there is something gravely wrong that the president does, find the facts...don't believe the media, think for yourself and if need be bring up charges, impeach or whatever the law says.

He, as a man, could have volunteered to go to Viet Nam, buy he didn't. He decided to remain State side in the National Guard. But this same MAN has no problem sending women to combat zones. He had presided over a war that has seen more women killed in action than all of this nation's previous wars put together. That is something for a real man to really be proud of.

I didn't like his immigration proposal. I don't like his record spending. I don't like No Child Left Behind. Those are the main factors that i disagree with.

Absolutely, I'm not happy with his spending policies and I'm very frustrated with his lack in securing out southern border.

Yes, of course, but I've never known anyone who hasn't disappointed me from time to time.

I focus upon the positive because I truly believe there is more positive.

Funny.

"Nobody approves of everything all of the time."

However, you DISapprove of everything, all the time.

A little personal bias?
