How exactly is America imploding? I look around and see the economy pushing ahead, morals and values returning to everyday life, our nation safe and secure.
So how are we imploding?

I don't think either Harry Reid OR Nancy Pelosi are greedy. Stupid, yes, but not greedy...at least not financially. I guess if there's such a thing as 'political greed' you may have a point there, but regardless, I don't think either of these failings on their part or on the part of those that support them is sufficient for America to 'implode'.

Mustag/Ruth - yes, there are exceptions, but the point is, the two party system creates stalemate and waste, allowing outside powers time to take from us. The majority of Hawaii's commercial property is owned by Japan/Japanese interests, Dubai owns 20% of the Dow Jones Industries, and the UAW has enough money to fire GM management and start a HUGE car company themselves.
The answer to the question above is, "YES". That's why I'm writing in Stephen Colbert in my primary, not in SC. We need to send a message to the two evil parties in control that they need to start over or go away!

Stupidity on the part of the voters. GREED on the part of the politicians. In my opinion it has been that way since John Adams was President.

I wouldn't go as far as saying imploding, but it would be a little from column A and a little from column B.

Grreed, When people that don't need to work keep ripping the rest of us off (Enron, MCI, Countrywide) Ignorance 43% of americans spend more than they earn. It is all crazy. Wait until Countrywide goes under we will all be looking for work.

its greed thats the driving factor, but stupidity and apathy perpetuates it.
everything that you see happening is part of one big conspiracy...and is interlinked. You see, the conspirators want the rest of the population to be as stupid as possible, and give you the tools or lack thereof to keep being as blind and dumb as possible.

'America' for 'USA' is politically and geographically not correct.

mostly greed i think, because those with tons already want more so much that they bought the media so that they could influence what people think, and they bought the government...
