Cutting taxes and ending entitlements are entirely unrelated.

The govt spends a lot of money on many things other than entitlements -- and taxes should pay for whatever the govt is spending money on -- rather than living on rapidly increasing debt by constantly operating at a deficit.

As for entitlements -- personally, I agree that almost all should be eliminated -- but that can happen at both the state and federal level independently -- just get your legislators to stop giving handouts.

I don't know about all this, but the two party system is killing us. I'm writing in Stephen Colbert for my primary. Send a message that the two party system isn't getting the job done.
