The future generations will see the USA gone bankrupt. The interest payments on the national debt already take up 25% of the yearly national budget, every year that we stay in Iraq just adds more percentage points to that figure.

At the rate we are going, it will only be a few years before we get to the 33% mark. That is 1/3 of the national budget dedicated to paying the interest on the national debt.

You can tell one thing, it is not your grand parents day anymore. Back when the American people backed their troops, and supported the cost of protecting their country. Now it is all about the individual, and it does not matter if they are even within our borders legally. I guess parents no longer believe they are responsible for the care of their children, the problem is not having the insurance, but people thinking a new car, a bigger house, whatever is often more important than paying the premium. Low income children do have forms of medical coverage. It;s called Medicare, Medicaid, and clinics in almost every major city in this country, but don't forget, not just Americans use these services, which will drive up the cost for everyone who needs to use them.

We must provide our troops with the help and support they need to get the job done," Bush said.

I think that about sums it up. The troops need money to operate. If the funds are not there, the health and well being of the troops are compromised. Any American citizen should not hesitate to give to the war effort.

Well, 350 billion for illegal aliens is ok. So far that is 1.4 trillion in money for illegal aliens and 455 billion to make the world a safer place. Clean up illegal immigration and lets see what we can do.

Just putting a perspective on spending.
