Is it good at controlling Social Security, war, education, illegal immigration, taxes, rights, riots, fires, crime, legislation, the budget, anything? If you think they're not, then why would you put the government in charge of yours, and your children's health?

Nostrada, fighting crime, done by the police, and fighting fires, done by firemen/women is NOT free. You pay for it with your taxes.

The Federal Government is not in charge of firefighting. They do have some role in law-enforcement and are effective at it. National Defense extending to border enforcement are what they are supposed to do. They should consentrate on that and leave the rest, as the Constitution prescribes, to the many States and to the people respectively.

How do you think the government would pay for health care? Through our tax dollars. Your comment about Fire and Police holds no water.

Basically it is best at keeping itself in existence. It has no other real objective than to do whatever it takes to get the American people to keep paying taxes and to keep reelecting people to facilitate the continued existence of a buereaucratic monolith.

The current US government is good at controlling the minds of its citizens so they are kept in a perpetual state of fear giving said government carte blanche to do as it wishes in the name of "protecting" them.

i actually do think that our police forces and fire departments are very well run and do a great job protecting us.

and they do it for free to all citizens, regardless of how much money they have.

it's exactly the way our health system should be run.

Democrats are good at controlling a lot of those things. I would put them in control of my healthcare, just not a Republican.
