Poppy Bush would have passed NAFTA too. Don't blame me, I voted for Ross Perot.

Truth be told, with or without NAFTA, greedy manufacturers were outsourcing jobs at an alarming rate - and not just to Mexico. How else can you explain the absolutely ridiculous salaries being paid to their top managers and ceo's (regardless of the company's performance)?
NAFTA was simply the con job that paved the way through the previous red tape and boosted their profits even higher.

Not many.
Most of our jobs are going to India and China where they pay people like 3 $ per week for hard labor. I almost wish they had gone to Mexico. Maybe Enrique ,Pablo , Jose , and Juan wouldn't be hopping our border fences and demanding rights right now.

I don't have any love for NAFTA though.

I believe the number is 2,000,000 since the year 2000, and 150,000 white collar jobs.

I also voted for Ross Perot.

For all of the uneducated right-wing wackos blaming Clinton for NAFTA: The NAFTA treaty was signed by GHW Bush in 1992 before Clinton was even elected.

An easy way to figure it out is to determine how much the membership of the UAW (and other organized labor) has decreased since NAFTA was enacted.

Dude, HOW MANY JOBS WENT TO MEXICO ALL UP?

Well done to Turd Blossom Bush!

Lots of them. Though in Mexico they are only getting $20 per day for the same job people were getting $115 an hour for in the states.

This could have been avoided if the unions hadnt driven the auto manufacturers to it.
