John Edwards is running for the Democratic election, however he seems just as idiotic as Kerry and clueless on about just about everything.

Can you give any example of why you think he's clueless?
Personally, although he doesn't seem to have much of a chance - the fix seems to be in as George Bush has practically endorsed Hillary Clinton for the election - Edwards seems to me to be one of the most decent people in the campaign right now. There are others too, who would make good alternatives to the current 'front-runners.'
Much has been made of Edwards' haircut, but Mitt Romney too, seems to be all about projecting a certain 'look.' Romney doesn't seem to have much substance, and seems to be an opportunist, even more of a 'flip-flopper' than Kerry was accused to have been. Nothing wrong with changing your mind, though, if you have been mistaken.
Giuliani scares me, due to his role in 9/11, and his constant milking of that mass murder. He ordered all the steel immediately removed from the scene, and sent off to Asia to be melted down, before it could be examined. As a former prosecutor, he knew very well that it is a federal offense to remove evidence from a crime scene.
