Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush asked Congress to act quickly on his request for about $190 billion to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other priorities, saying the money is needed to keep troops supplied. ]

why would anyone in their right mind prefer war? Haven't we as human beings learned yet ?

I don't want the government in charge of my health care under any circumstances. Nobody prefers war. But rational people understand that a country needs to defend itself.

We DO live in a democracy -- note our ability to vote. We're actually a democratic republic. Now the REPUBLIC of CHINA, that's a different story. Take out democracy and you have a country china

We live in a democratic country. If there was no need, no reason, no threat to our country for war, then by all means, put your money where your mouth is!
