Its unified military power would provide a counter-balance to unstable powers such as Russia, China and the United States. Most of all, we Europeans would be a lot more prosperous and secure than we are now.

This is just the latest report about the persecution of Christians in today's Iraq. Remember, Saddam's own Deputy Prime Minister - Tariq Aziz - is a Catholic. How many members of Iraq's Bush-installed leadership TODAY are Christians?

I'm not a Christian, so this doesn't surprise me. But I thought Bush said he WAS a Christian. If so, isn't it a big sin for him to hurt his fellow Christians in Iraq by refusing to protect their safety as least as much as Saddam did? Won't God send Bush to hell for that?

We've ignored our own backyard and we've now got totalitarian states in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela. Argentina is also leaning very left. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hugo try to take another country over.

I would say increase funding for education and set it up so more people stay in school so they could get better jobs. That's just my opinion.

Just say what you think is progressive, but don't bash the other party.

Jackson and his ilk marched on Jena....simply because they felt some criminals who beat a kid unconscious and left him for dead were OVERcharged with the crime.

Note: they aren't even disputing that a crime took place, they admit that much.

But where were they when the Duke players were FALSELY charged with a crime? Did they hold protests and candelight vigils? Yes, as a matter of fact they did.....but not for the victims. They marched in support of the lying w.hore instead.

Utter Hypocrisy!

According to former U.S.(Conservative) senator Rick Santorum, the traditional ideal American family--husband, wife, and kids in a stable and loving environment--should be the desired norm in the American cultures. He blames liberal legistures and the media for hurtinh the American society by making divorce so east, by tolerating or encouraging cohabitation before marriage, and by endorsing gay and lesbian marriage.
Do you think that it's fair to blame liberals for "ruining" American values? Personally I do not.
What are your thoughts??

why is it that
when a "White" person assults a black person it is a "hate" crime?
BUT
When a "black" person assults a white person it is just assult?

why do they even look at the skin color?
why do they not just look at the crime for what it is?

Just look at their history and you will see that bloodlust is in the American psyche.

First the Indians got in their way so they commited a genocide (killing at LEAST 2 million).

Then the blacks got “uppity” and demanded equality so they lynched many thousands (the killers repeatedly acquitted by all white juries).

Now the Muslims are the targets of their hatred.
Thank goodness I’m not a Muslim - there is no limit to the bloodthirstiness of Americans.

can someone tell me what this editorial cartoon means... i have the cartoon siting in front of me so i will explain it to you. In the background of the cartoon a train is approaching.. in the front of the cartoon a man dressed in a suit is at the railroad station. he is behind a podium, (in the front of the podium, attached is a sign that says)"Thompson for president" the next important detail is his briefcase that reads 2008.(as big as day on the side bottom of the potium) There is nothing else around except for this man (and the dog in front of him who seems to be itching at fleas or something??) standing behind a podium at a train station reading from a piece of paper saying aloud "After careful deliberation ive decided to get on board.."

i would apprec. if you understand this cartoon to explain it to me because i am very confused thank you!!!!!!!

i know of 2 men they have been fighting for years
i do not know who started it but i need you to hear about what they did yesterday
the 1st insulted the other with words i can not repeat on here
the 2nd then hit the 1st
the 1st then knocked out the 2nd and started hiting the 2nd's friend before the friend could fight back
the friend and the 1st man fought for some time

all 3 of them are calling each other evil
so who is evil? WHY?
